This is either an act of cowardice, in appeasing muslim jihadis and their supporters (liberals, fascists, et al), or an act of anti-semitism, on the part of the Interconental Hotel chain.

Israel says Paris hotel cancels tourism fair amidst Gaza conflict

Jerusalem – The Grand Hotel Intercontinental in Paris has cancelled the central part of an Israeli Tourism Fair, the tourism ministry in Jerusalem said Wednesday, a day before it was scheduled to take place. “The main part of the event was supposed to take place at their hotel and they cancelled,” said Shira Kaveh, a spokeswoman for the ministry.

“The fair will still go on, but not at the hotel. The public part just won’t happen, but the private meetings of businessmen will still take place,” Kaveh added.

The ministry of tourism said there was concern that protests would take place outside the hotel against Israel’s ongoing military offensive in the Gaza Strip and cause damage and lead to the cancellation.

They cite concern over protests causing damage. Isn’t it ironic that “peace” protesters and anti-war hippies are always among the more violent and destructive people one encounters? I for one will NEVER set foot in a hotel owned by Intercontinental Hotels Group again.

Yona, what else can ever be expected of the French? As Flashman said, "The French not only have garlic on their breath; they have it on the minds!"

Dear Yona,I'm afraid you're right.Today's France isn't the same that saw Chopin and Lizst in
its salons,,,Seeing the abnormally violent riots waged by the muslims, burning HUNDREDS
of cars, clashing with the gendarmerie,DEMANDING things from the government….

But,nevertheless, don't feel sorry for them. The French are the ones who chanted
"DEATH TO THE JEWS" while waiting outside Captain Alfred Dreyfus's 'trial',in
1895.They're the ones who made the VICHY Government possible.Even KLAUS BARBIE,
the Lyon's butcher, said that "all dirty work was made by the French.Only 10 or 15% of
the persecutions against the Jews in France were actually product of the SS".

I don't have any kind of simpathy for the French. They're a nation of traitors, and
CHARLES DE GAULLE was the biggest double-crosser I've ever seen
