It was the first Islamic "domestic abuse" I blogged about. It happened just while the rest were making riots (nov 2005). The official press did not publish anything of the case. The Agence France Press only released "a press note" who was short and included a vague reference to the "denial to marry the boy" but the sense was more of understanding why she has been torched that the contrary.
