Support for Geert Wilders’ political party explodes after British expulsion

Good to see the Dutch public rallying around Geert.

CBN – THE HAGUE, Netherlands – Critics say the freedom to criticize Islam in Europe has been put in jeopardy after Dutch politician Geert Wilders was banned last week from entering Britain because of his attacks on Islam.

But while the controversial politician may have failed to enter the United Kingdom, the Dutch public has rallied around Wilders, and support for his party has exploded.

His party, the Party for Freedom, is now the second largest party in the Netherlands, based on recent polling. It’s a stunning political development..

Wilders, like him or not, has a two fold mission. One is to sound the alarm bells about the spread of Islam in Europe, and the other is to show how far he thinks western governments have gone in appeasing radical Islam.

Hurd: Why do you think support for your party has surged?

Wilders: Common people in many cities in the Netherlands, in Amsterdam and Rotterdam and there are many smaller cities and villages, see that their country is changing, see that the influence of Islam and Islamization is growing, and they don’t like that.

They are not xenophobes. They are not racist. They do not hate Muslims. But they feel that their own culture, based on Christianity, Judaism, and humanism is something to fight for.

Hurd: What does your not being allowed in the United Kingdom prove, if anything?

Wilders: It proves that the influence of Islam in Western European countries is huge.

Wilders still faces trial in the Netherlands for hate speech. But his political stock continues to grow.

    I recall a while back that Rick Santorum said we ought to declare outright war on radical islam. Of course, he was probably censured by the likes of Pelosi, Reid, and their ilk. We need more Rick Santorums and Geert Wilders types. Hell, we need another George Washington.

    Britain is already LOST.Mr.Wilders is trying to avoid the islamization of
    his beloved country,something that British politicians didn't manage
    because they weren't willing to or the POLITICALLY CORRECT plague
    prevented them of doing so.

    And sober Dutch people will arrive at the conclusion that his campaign is righteous.

    The combination of Judeo-Christian values (Bible) and enlightenment human reason (Science) is the foundation of American political ideology; and it is expressed most succinctly in our Declaration of Independence which Thomas Jefferson said is "an expression of the American mind." Our Declaration of Independence is anathema both to the Marxist/Socialist Left and the Islamo-Fascist Right. Both of these totalitarian ideologies are united in theophobic hatred of the Biblical God and the God-given human rights and human equality (equality before the law - not Marxist government-forced economic equality) which follows. You would think that Marxists would appreciate the secular enlightenment value of government power deriving from the consent of the governed; but no, the Marxists hate that rational idea just as much as the Biblical God. Marxists prefer tyrannical government power which does not derive from the consent of the governed; or if necessary government power derived, with the assistance of propaganda from their mass-media/entertainment arm, from the uninformed consent of the governed.

    The only thing that the Brits will do is capitulate and give their gonads to the islamofascists (again, I'm referring to the British government, NOT the British people). They are a bunch of whining maggots who take from their citizens the means to defend themselves and then give themselves over to those from whom their citizens should be defended.     An excellent development. Let us hope this is the beginning of a new Age of Reason in Europe and, indeed, the world. I wonder, though, if matters have already degenerated too far in Britain. Perhaps the only way the Brits can be brought to their senses is a few more terrorist attacks, ghastly thought though it may be.
