Drum made from pig skin irks Muslim couple

A drum made from pig skin, which was allegedly placed at the entrance of a departmental store irked a Muslim couple, who now has to undergo a cleansing ritual (‘Tayamum’) after accidentally touching the object.Awg Deris claimed that he went to the store two days ago and touched the drum, only to be informed by a concerned Muslim sales staff that it was made from pigskin.
“As a Muslim nation which practises MIB concept and a nation of ‘Zikir’, the shop management should not display such items prohibited in Islam. “In other countries, the shop management will inform their customers of products such as shoes, handbags which are made from pig skin in view of its sensitivity to Muslims,” he added.
“I express my frustration because no information was given. It shouldn’t have been displayed. My concern goes to other customers who visit the departmental store and are not aware of this,” he said.
Funny, when I was a child, my mom always told me “DON’T TOUCH IT!” if I was unsure of whether or not something might be unclean or unsafe. Too bad these idiots didn’t have the common sense to NOT TOUCH what wasn’t theirs!
On that note, it does give me an idea on how to win the war on islamic terrorism. Simply start mass shipments of everything and anything that has pork in it.
