Cheney: "high probability" of WMD attack on Obama's watch

Whenever Cheney speaks, the libtards and truthers come out in droves screaming that Cheney is the real terrorist blah blah blah… and there’s plenty to go around over at Politico if you wanna see them in action.  I, on the other hand, think differently of Cheney.  A true conservative who will be missed greatly.  He’s gotten a bad rap but I believe that history will treat him well.

Today he came out speaking of the already glaring weakness of the Obama administration catering to the Muslim world on Arab TV, reaching an open hand to the terrorists in Iran and demanding that terrorists who would slit your child’s throat be given full Constitutional rights in the US court system.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney warned that there is a “high probability” that terrorists will attempt a catastrophic nuclear or biological attack in coming years, and said he fears the Obama administration’s policies will make it more likely the attempt will succeed.

In an interview Tuesday with Politico, Cheney unyieldingly defended the Bush administration’s support for the Guantanamo Bay prison and coercive interrogation of terrorism suspects.

And he asserted that President Obama will either backtrack on his stated intentions to end those policies or put the country at risk in ways more severe than most Americans — and, he charged, many members of Obama’s own team — understand.

“When we get people who are more concerned about reading the rights to an Al Qaeda terrorist than they are with protecting the United States against people who are absolutely committed to do anything they can to kill Americans, then I worry,” Cheney said.

Protecting the country’s security is “a tough, mean, dirty, nasty business,” he said. “These are evil people. And we’re not going to win this fight by turning the other cheek.”

Cheney’s right.  It’s not always about being popular.  Leading and protecting America is the hardest job in the world where people’s lives hang in the balance on every decision you make.  The job is full of tough decisions and ti seems like Obama only cares about our image instead of truly caring about the security of America.  I fear his eyes won’t be opened up until a mushroom cloud rises over an American city.

    Cheney is a patriot trying to prevent all of us from getting blown up; including the dick, G-Dizzle. Cheney is more successful economically than G-Dizzle, and thus the hatred and envy. I have no doubt that G-dizzle would like a Marxist/Socialist property grab, i.e.: redistribution of Cheney's wealth to himself.

    Storm_Rider you say it like it is and you too Tonto2: We have the dumbest most radical so called prez, really a usurper, than ever in the history of our country. Hussein Obama is a mental case headed for a breakdown, G-Dizzle has already broke down, and is really worthless in the over all scheme of things. It won't make one difference what he thinks or doesn't think, so what. Colin Powell either I might add, a traitor along with our corrupt government. Washington DC, is Denial City, and paid way above their pay grade!!!

    The US economy is on the edge of a black abyss never before seen since the 1930's. We need radical action in radical times. Personally Obama is probably to soft. Its congress that is failing us we need to toss most of these old bags out and gets some real leaders in there that truly care about the American people and our plight. Look around at our current trend the US is fast becoming Rome. Rich out of touch aristicrats, lots of poor people that cant afford to defend them selves and no middle class.

    In the 1980s I read a Reader's Digest article by some radical 1960s American black who thought he really hated America. But when he traveled to Libya, he says his eyes were opened concerning people who very seriously and literally wanted to DESTROY America. This turned him off, thankfully, and he stopped with the America-hatred.

    But too many leftist America-haters are still blind to the Islamofascist threat, whether just from negligence or from willful treason. I include Nation-Of-Islam Black Muslims in this group. We have a big problem with this Fifth Column inside our borders, and unfortunately, even our president's, our Commander-in-Chief's loyalties are questionable. Remember when he said, "My Muslim religion" on T.V.? And, "I will stand with the Muslims if the political winds should shift in an ugly direction"?

    Good folks, cling to your guns and Bibles, and also pray for good leaders.
