"Grave Concern" as Iran launches homemade Satellite

U.S. and British officials said the Iranian satellite program may use technology that could be used for ballistic missiles, and noted the United Nations has sought to discourage Iran’s nuclear and missile programs. Iran has long said its nuclear program is purely for civilian energy purposes.

“That’s of grave concern to us,” State Department spokesman Robert Wood told reporters of the satellite.

British Foreign Office Minister Bill Rammell said the launch “underlines and illustrates our serious concerns about Iran’s intentions,” adding it sent the “wrong signal to the international community.”

It is unclear what Iran intends to use the satellite for, and the United States is still trying to learn more about it, the U.S. security official said

    Hmm…I'm no rocket scientist, but do you suppose these followers of the Prophet might just take his command to 'make war on the infidel' seriously, mount a 'peaceful' nuclear device(s) on their new missile(s) and do an American Hiroshima?

    Nah -no indications they'd ever even think of such a thing. That's 'Islamophobic' thinking, and we can't have that.(sarcasm off).

    This is the cue for an all-out attack against their military facilities.Benjamin Netanyahu,
    if elected,should not stand idle watching Iran's march toward becoming a NUCLEAR
    POWER.
    I don't expect NOTHING from Obama nor Gordon Brown.The real ACTION must
    come from Israel.
    If Israel don't attack,it will be due Obama's objection.Only Obama can spoil Israel's
    plans of attacking Ahmadinejadland.
