Can we round him up and put him away for life so he doesn’t help any other Islamic states proliferate?

A court in Pakistan has freed disgraced nuclear scientist Abdul Qadeer Khan from house arrest.

Dr Khan, who has been under tight restrictions since 2004, can now leave home and receive visitors.

Dr Khan welcomed the ruling and said he was not bothered what the international community thought of his release.

Dr Khan admitted transferring nuclear secrets to other countries in 2004 but was later pardoned by former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf.

The US has repeatedly said it wants to question Dr Khan but Pakistan has always refused access.

When asked about what the international community would think, he said: “Let them talk. Are they happy with our God? Are they happy with our Prophet? Are they happy with our leaders? Never, so why should we bother what they say about us?”

He added: “I would be more worried about what you (Pakistani journalists) say about me, not what Bush says or what Dick Cheney says. I don’t damn care.”…

In January, the US imposed sanctions on people and companies linked to Dr Khan.

Last July, Dr Khan told the media that Pakistan had transported uranium enrichment equipment to North Korea in 2000 with the full knowledge of the country’s army, then headed by Gen Musharraf.

The former leader has repeatedly stated that no-one apart from Dr Khan had any knowledge of the transportation of nuclear technology….

A Q Khahn is guilty of a monumental crime.
Continued pressure to have him brought to justice is essential.
Some enterprising gentleman might dream up a kidnapping project!
Now that would make an interesting action film.

I saw an interesting action film on T.V. recently; Spielberg's 'Munich', about an Israeli hit team traveling around Europe in the 1970s killing the Muslim scum who murdered the innocent unarmed civilian Israeli Olympic athletes at Munich in 1972. But like any leftist Hollywood production, they had to sow doubts about the west. The hero has attacks of conscience after killing these bad guys.

Anyway, I'd like to see a real life hit team, I don't care which nationality or religion or lack thereof, put two to center body mass and one to the head of this evil Islamic nuclear scientist before he does any more harm.

Hello, hellosnackbar. I think those who have read my numerous posts to this site will know of my deep loathing of Islam and my concerns about its toxic spread. Thus, I am sorry AQ Khan was ever born, given his theft of nuclear technology from the West in response to Bhutto's determination to gain nuclear parity with India. But wait. The guy acted patriotically for Pakistan, whether we like it or not, in stealing that technology for his country. His attempts, of course, to supply Libya with materials to go down the same path are beyond the pale, as were his dealings with the North Koreans, although Pakistan needed NK's rocket systems. Can we honestly blame someone for stealing our secrets when we have agents who steal our enemies' secrets? I don't think so. A pox on the man for being successful, yes, but he simply did the job his country desperately needed him to do.
