More intolerance and brutality towards women in Pakistan. Guess the religion of the perps…

Muslim Mob Drags Christian Women through Streets

WASHINGTON, D.C. – International Christian Concern (ICC) has learned that Noor Husain, the father of a Muslim woman who eloped with a Christian man, led a mob of his neighbors and friends in an attack on his village’s only church in Pakistan’s Punjab province. After desecrating the church, the men forced their way into Christian homes, dragged out the women, and paraded them forcefully on the streets.

The assault, which occurred several months ago, so terrified the Christian community that 21 families fled, leaving only four Christian families who are still in the village.

“Petrified Christians locked their homes and fled to their relatives, living in other villages and cities, to save their lives,” said Ashraf Masih, a Christian resident who has remained in the village.

Several Christians were injured, including two women whose teeth were broken.

After the incident, local politicians attempted to set up a “Peace Committee” to reconcile the two groups in lieu of requesting that the police get involved. When that effort failed, the Christians finally approached the police with a formal complaint, but as of press time police had not taken any action to prosecute the assault.

Ashraf is still hopeful that the Peace Committee will be able to work out a resolution to the conflict.

The incident occurred in Kot Lakha Singh village in Narrowal district, Punjab, Pakistan.

The religion of tolerance, ladies and gentlemen. I seem to remember always hearing islamo-apologists trying to feed us the line about how islam respects people of the book. If that is true, where is the widespread muslim condemnation of this latest heinous act perpetrated by followers of islam?

I'm sorry, but a Christian missionary outfit is hardly the most objective source for these kinds of stories.

So you deny this happened? A woman was killed. She was dragged through the streets by her attackers. They were muslims. What's the big deal? She's only a kaffir right? The "koran book", with pages suitable for toilet paper, says it's OK right?

The fact that the story is being reported by an uncredentialed partisan organization with an agenda, makes me somewhat suspicious of it's accuracy.

    That's just me, though.

I despise Christian missionaries. Always have. Africans used to boil them alive, I believe, adding a few bay leaves and spices, no doubt, to improve the flavour. Personally I'd marinate them for a day or two in a timely Nuits St George embellished with ripe capsicum and a sprig of thyme before cooking them. On the other hand I might just throw petrol over them and set them alight to give them more of a Muslim flavour.

Christian objective???? How can any religious zealot be objective???????? It is a contradiction in terms.

Following this, dominique, or whatever the hell you call yourself?
  • Objective as I can be
This is in reply to Beejj.

One can only be objective according to their own worldview. You may not think that any religious zealot can be objective...then again...how can you be objective when you already hold the view that anybody religious (particularly Christians) can't be objective? Now THERE'S a contradiction!

    Following this.....Beejj?

A nice point, Objective. Objectivity is ultimately based upon one's experience of the world, although those whose minds have been closed by the certainty of religious thought are less likely to be accepting of views that are contradictory to such thought. Missionaries are a good example of this, as is the Vatican in its opinion of contraception and its possible slowing of the spread of HIV. "My opinion is right versus your opinion might be right" is the issue at hand. Religious zealots have their dogma to fend off opposing views, so they are quite unable ever to attain objectivity. My recognition of their failing does not place me in their camp.

We are clearly dealing with the most PRIMITIVE
and AGGRESSIVE kind of people in the world,a
bunch who follows a DEATH CULT,disguised as
    a "religion" called "ISLAM",that has gained,disgracefully,
the status of a "noble and peaceful religion".

Nothing more distant from the truth. The opposite from
that assessment actually reveals the solid truth, but
even talking about it could bring real trouble.

I guess that FEAR plays a huge role in that gross misconception,
for knowing the truth doesn't mean the willingness of externalizing it...
