Gingrich: “Obama is endangering Israel”

Truth speakers are few and far between these days.  Gingrich is simply stating what many of already are anticipating.  US diplomatic conflict with Israel over the Iran issue.

newt-gingrichJerusalem Post

Former US House speaker Newt Gingrich on Sunday blasted the Obama administration for setting itself on a collision course with Israel and endangering the Jewish state, ahead of his address to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).

“They are systematically setting up the most decisive confrontation that we’ve ever seen,” the leading Republican politician told The Jerusalem Post, referring to news reports about the administration’s approach to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

“There’s almost an eagerness to take on the Israeli government to make a point with the Arab world,” he said, speaking to the Post ahead of his speech before the American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s annual conference.

He called US President Barack Obama’s program of engagement on Iran a “fantasy,” and his Middle East policies “very dangerous for Israel.” He summed up Obama’s approach as “the clearest adoption of weakness since Jimmy Carter.”

Instead, he maintained, the US should be sending the message to Israel that “we are for the survival of Israel” and that “we are not going to tolerate Iran getting nuclear weapons.”

Why would anyone believe Obama is worried about supporting or defending Israel, when he's busy weakening the US military and intelligence services? Of course he wants to outlaw gun possesion, he wants the US to unilaterally disarm it's nukes too. At a time when N Korea and Iran are arming with nukes. Countries whose leaders are radical enough to use nukes because they have no regard for their own countryman's lives. Obama's time in office so far has proved to me he is the liar and deciever I thought he was. I believe he hates America and wants to see it humiliated, if not destroyed. I believe He intends to let Israel sink or swim, while he does his best to prostrate America to it's enemies and the world.

SirWilhelm said: "...I believe He intends to let Israel sink or swim..."

And Israel simply will NOT let that happen,no matter what.If
Israel should collapse, the main arab capitals and Mecca and Medina
will be INCINERATED as a revenge.

The Arabs are fully aware of that threat. At least their intelligence apparatuses are.
Israel will not die ALONE.The price to be paid is VERY HIGH,even to people who
doesn't consider life as a precious thing,as the muslims do.

Allow me to add one more factor to that which I wrote a little while ago, Jewhawk .......

Are people so foolish, so blind, to believe that Israel in its death throes would leave the oil fields untouched? Israel would eradicate forever the oil producing centres of every Muslim land at the press of a few buttons. Ponder the state of the world after such an event. Imagine the billions of deaths that would ensue. It would take many centuries for anything resembling a recovery to occur, if it ever would.

The world needs a secure Israel more than it realises. How this must stick in many people's throats!

Israel already targeted arab refineries during the so-called "War of Attrition" against Egypt in the Suez Canal area.Between 1968 and 1970,as soon as the first A-4 Skyhawks and F-4 Phantoms did arrive from the reluctant Kissinger and Nixon's hands, they bombed the Egyptian Oil refineries, bringing to their production a great deal of damage.

    OIL FIELDS:

I'm no expert when the subject is OIL and its burning properties, but I
guess that if INCENDIARY bombs hit the oil wels, they'll burn until some
american companies who are specialized in such kind of fires do appear
to stop it,as it happen when Saddam Hussein did that to Kuweti oil wells
    in 1991.

BEEJJ: "Will the Iranians be mad enough to go down this path? "

Just the THREAT to do so is UNBEARABLE to us,Beejj...it's a relentless nightmare that still lingers after you're awake. It's a highly effective psycological warfare waged against us,nevertheless we just CAN'T afford to wait and see if it's an empty threat or a real possibility of another Holocaust against the Jewish people.

Ahmadinejad's messianic lunacy will put HIS country on the path of an enraged,armed-to-the-teeth Israel. If I were an Iranian,I'd MOVE from their major cities.

Jewhawk, I did not mean merely setting oil wells alight: I meant the dropping of hydrogen bombs on the oil fields, obliterating them in their entirety and making it impossible for anyone to go near them for a very long time during which the entire world economy would collapse with the hideous consequences to which I previously referred. Why should Israel, on the verge of annihilation, worry? If the world refuses to protect Israel from extinction, the world will suffer the consequences.
  • hellosnackbar
A nightmare scenario Beej ;but I believe optimistically that the great powers will step in long before that.
A first strike by Iran would polarise the thinking of everybody;including our friends the Saudis.
The idiotic posturing of the Iranians is something that Obama has to deal with(for his and the world's future).
Imagine a nuclear armed Venuezuela making the same threats to the US.

One never knows what goes on behind the scenes, of course, but Obama'a public antics must surely catalyse these Iranian mental cases to futher bellicosity. Given that Turkey wishes to join the EEC, it will be interesting to see if it will try to put the brake on Iran. Is the whole game nothing more than Iran's attempt to become the undisputed leader of the Islamic world? Perhaps so, but Israel must be unfailingly vigilant. You mention Iran's first strike. Given the small size of Israel, I don't think they will wait for a second one: one hostile nuke will be enough to have Israel let loose all its dogs of war, and within minutes the world will be hurtling down the road to the greatest catastrophe since that lump of rock put an end to the dinosaurs. Is this what Islam wants? If it does, Israel will oblige. What's the population of the world? 7 billion? How long will it take, after Iran's feel-good moment for it to fall to 1 billion or less? A year? 6 months? Impossible? Hmm ....... consider the fact that in just a year or so after acquiring its first nuclear weapon Israel had 13 of the things. They were only "atom" (fission) bombs, of course, with a yield of about 4 times that of the Hiroshima/Nagasaki bombs. How many decades ago was this? 4? Imagine how many nuclear bombs Israel now possesses ...... many of them hydrogen (fusion) bombs. Enough to cause the terrifying nuclear winter? You'd better believe it. You, too, Muslims.
  • Beejj
You are correct, Jewhawk. The moment Iran launches a nuclear weapon at Israel a large number of Muslim cities will reap the benefit of a sunshine breakfast. Let not Muslim countries other than Iran think otherwise. Every major Islamic centre will be turned to glass, and that includes Mecca and Medina. The death toll will be horrendous, and the consequences of the global "radioactive aftermath" too hellish to imagine. Israel has had the capacity to do this for decades but has exercised restraint. Will the Iranians be mad enough to go down this path? Are influential Western countries prepared to take the risk? Just think of the worldwide starvation resulting from irradiated planetary food crops and water storage systems. It's a Middle East problem? No it ain't!

Israel will make its point with the muslims and I reckon
    that they won't like it.

    America is our best friend,ally,yada-yada-yada...

    BUT

No Israeli Government will gamble with Jewish lives for
the sake of good relations with ANY U.S.administration.
In 1981,the U.S.Government wanted to PUNISH Israel
after the attack against Saddam Hussein's OSIRAK
    nuclear reactor,more precisely GEORGE H.BUSH,a well-known
    arab-lover and anti-zionist fellow.

    ISRAEL DID IT ANYWAY.

And will do so in the future,no matter what Obama thinks. He could
    WHINE,though.

About 80% of the American Jewry votes em masse with the Democrats,
but if Obama SCREW with Israel at its most dangerous time, that could
    change.
  • Kal_El
Actually, when Israel does take action, Obama will likely issue a stern
warning, much like he did after North Korea tested their missile. Then he
will call for unconditional talks with Israel.
