Correction, Hellosnackbar. The title of the book is "The Sword of the Prophet". It's written by Serge Trifkovic and is essential reading for all who would wish to see Islam in its true light. This is what a lecturer of the UCICE wrote of it: "There is a culpable blindness of such an intensity that it can survive exposure even to the survey of aggressive Islamism given in this book. However, as Dr Trifkovic demonstrates, where Islam and other religions have come together the track record of peaceful co-existence is outweighed by the record of human catastrophe." Brian Mitchell, Washington Bureau chief of Investor's Business Daily wrote, "The arbiters of official Islam will not tell us what Islam is, only what they want it to be. I am convinced the truth about Mohammed is denied to Muslims, for if it were to be revealed to them they would surely be horrified. They are led to believe he was the epitome of righteousness and goodness, unstained in character and free from the usual weaknesses that plague the rest of us. Selective teaching and elaborate embroidering of the story of his life inculcate the belief that he was a paragon of virtue and a man of unimpeachable character. They wish him to be on a par with Jesus, so we hear them utter such outlandish comments as loving him more than they love their mothers. (Given Islam's view of women, this should not be too difficult, of course.) Having been thoroughly programmed to accept such indoctrination they immediately scream, "Lies! Fraud! Invention! A plot!" when confronted with the fruits of scholarly research, and quickly huddle together to find strength in unity, wishing death upon those who dare reveal the facts of his life and lifestyle. Truth needs no shield; no protection. Truth welcomes scrutiny and is willing to undertake any test, for the more it is examined, the greater is its triumph. Why, then, do the custodians of the Islamic creed rabidly stamp out anything they perceive to be a threat to their message? Why do they pronounce death sentences upon those who write that which is deemed to be hostile and kill people who went so far as to translate the words of the heretics into other languages? Why are certain scholarly books outlawed in Islamic countries? Am I able to purchase a copy of "The Sword of Islam" in an Islamic state? What are these people afraid of? If they hold a mortgage on Truth, they should welcome such works because Truth is immutable and every test it passes elevates it to even loftier heights. Truth revels in the sting of battle, to paraphrase Patton. But Muslims react violently to dissention within or without its ranks, bringing to mind the immortal line, "Methinks the maiden doth protest too much."

Curious that Arab gentlemen have a reputation for cavorting with comely young boys, isn't it? All lies, of course, yes? You refer to adherence to the laws of nature. What is human nature? It consists of many facets, perhaps the most valuable being the hunger for knowledge through the application of reason, for this leads to progress (and occasional catastrophe, let it be said) and success on many fronts, but your "religion" does its utmost to stifle any questioning of the brainwashing you have been subjected to all your life. Indeed, possible death is Islam's reward for obeying the laws of nature. Tell me, Abidicus (reminds of the Pythonic Bigus Dicus), were you "born a Muslim"?

Who cares? I do. So should you and every other non-Muslim alive. Never forget that a Muslim, wherever he/she lives, is first and foremost a citizen of Islam, belonging morally, spiritually, intellectually and TOTALLY to the belief that Mohammed is the prophet and Mecca the capital. This is the Muslim immutable life-force.

Apathy is a foolish mindset if there are millions of mad m en hell bent on murder!

most of my friends in college were apathetic. Didn't care too much either way, and their ignorance of the issues played into it a lot. Their mindset was basically if it didn't affect their little box that they lived in, then why bother worrying? Really out of touch and ignorant. I say to them. Step aside and get out of our way, let the big boys handle this.

They're trying to make it revolve around them and their influence over Europe is way beyond anything you could ever imagine.

Oh, and we care because we don't want Europe or America to fall under Islamic rule which could very well happen in the next couple decades.

Remember, Islam isn't just a religion. It also has legal, political, economic and military components. The religious component is a beard for all the other components.

You mean British Muslims aren't Polictically Correct? Who woulda thunk it? But, I know, let's do what they want to do anyway, otherwise they might get mad and riot or sumthin', and someone might get hurt, can't have that can we? Don't worry, the homos err homosexuals will get over it, after all, they LIKE those peace loving moderate Muslims, don't they? I know you hear stories of homosexuals being stoned in other Muslim countries like Iran and Saudi Arabia, but that could NEVER happen in Britain, even if they do allow sharia law in some places, right?

I'm an American heterosexual, so I ain't worried.
