Hawaii Senate approves bill celebrating “Islam day”

So...how is this islam day celebrated?

a day of NO fun? maybe a beheading or two?

Well, maybe I won't be going to Hawaii anytime soon....

Perhaps they also include a day long seminar on suicide bombing, and
conclude with the appropriate "fireworks" show...

All of Hawaii's represenatives and senators that voted for this should hang their heads in shame and resign pure and simple. Here are a group of people (followers of Islam) that will not and have not publicly condemned their radical brothers for committing acts of terrorism. They claim to be a peace loving religion, yet will not go public and criticize their radical brothers for killing and maiming hundreds of thousands of innocents around the world in the name of Islam.

Why doesn't the Hawaii State Senate approve bills celebrating Buddhism, Hinduism, Baptist etc.? I find this bill repungnant and descriminatory to all other religions and the people of Hawaii.

I have a sister living on Maui and she says she's only seen one person wearing a veil in the 12 years she's been there. She has no idea why Hawaii would need an Islam day, and hadn't heard about it until I asked her about it. She lived on Oahu for a few years before that and had never seen a veil. I think this is just one of those things govts do when they think no ones paying attention or will really care.

We don’t have to imagine the actions of the ACLU in respect to anything Christian. They scream loud and clear every year at Christmas with their support of renaming everything with the word Christmas in it – from trees, to parades and even the very greeting itself – as though the words ‘Merry Christmas’ to a non-Christian would be so offensive it would be equal to punching them in the face.

As long as the left and the mainstream media remain ignorant of Islam’s true agenda, they will never express outrage at making them feel warm and cozy here in the U.S. They will continue to bend over backwards in support of them and kowtow to there every request, from foot-baths to menu changes. They still think there is a difference between Islam and radical Islam and just a ‘few bad apples’ commit the atrocities we read about every single day. I don’t understand why, at least to me, it seems this has just completely gotten out of control after 9/11. One would think that life in America for a muslim would be very unpleasant after that, but instead, the liberals fall all over themselves in an attempt to convey that they understand that ‘real’ muslims were not responsible. It’s sickening.

What I'm shocked about more than anything is the non-outrage in the media. Is everyone so pathetic as to take on Islam?

If this were Christianity, you'd never hear the end of it on MSNBC, CNN, Bill Maher, Newsweek, Jon Stewart, Colbert and all the other mainstream ilk.

Screw it, I have friends in Hawaii always asking me to visit. I will be sure
to do so, and on islam day I will be sure to visit the mosque dressed as
Porky Pig chanting "allahu khanzir" and handing out container's of Baco's.

you did mention are crowded with rabid,left-winger Jews...I can't express
how angry I am with those idiots,mainly with the KING of them all,GEORGE
SOROS,who masterminds all those bogus news outlets.

The only network I trust is FOX NEWS.There you'll find some Jewish right-wing
contributors such as Bernie Goldberg,Ben Stein,Charles Krauthammer,Jonah
Goldberg and sometimes Ari Fleischer.I like them.

Is there any chance Hawaii might introduce an Atheists Day?

I would not agree with such a thing EVEN if it was
a "JEWISH DAY".It'd be totally uncalled- for.

Why don't they have a CHRISTIAN DAY in Saudi Arabia or
a JEWISH DAY in Egypt??
