Iran Ayatollah: “Americans are not human beings”

It’s unfathomable that heads of state can run around the world saying things like this and the leftist elite in Europe and America condemn it with hand slaps and “sanctions”.  Oh yea and Obama wants to have “talks without preconditions” with these people…unreal.

In his Friday, May 1, 2009 sermon at the Tehran University campus, Interim Tehran Friday prayer leader Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami criticized Washington for its call for talks with Tehran, saying, “The Iranian nation is the same nation that put all options of (former U.S. President George W.) Bush under table and into history’s dustbin. (U.S. President Barack) Obama is now toeing Bush’s line regarding Iran.”

Khatami, an Iranian Assembly of Experts member, also encouraged the Arab world to cut ties with Israel, warned certain Arab leaders over their efforts to maintain close relations with it, and said that the Arab world must realize that should Israel gain power, it would not hesitate to occupy other countries in the region.

In further comments on U.S.-Iran relations, Khatami said: “Praise to the Imam [Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, founder of the Islamic Revolution in Iran] who said, ‘If America was a human being, we would talk with it’ – but you are not human beings, and this is the same nation it was 30 years ago… and therefore say: ‘Death to America!’”

    An admirable sentiment, Greg. Muslim clerics devote their entire lives and whatever intellectual capacity they might have to their foul, venomous book, extracting from it every ounce of poison to spread with evangelical fervour. All else never impinges upon their consciousness, so they remain blissfully, determinedly ignorant of matters human beings deem to be important to the business of living and progressing. At heart, of course, they are charlatans because they are ever willing to reap the benefits of such progress made in the secular world, but their brainwashed followers are too ox-like to recognise the dichotomy.

    Yet, we must give a damn about these parasites. Witness the continuing effects of the influence of the murderous Khomeini, a man whose ignorance of non-Koranic affairs was breathtaking. (In an interview, when he said that music was unislamic and an influence for evil, he was asked, "What about Beethoven, Bach and Verdi?" to which he replied, "I am unfamiliar with those names." This, from a man who had spent years living in France!) Such people exert an influence over those stained by their faith to an extent that beggars belief, so we who are blessed with freedom of thought and speech must pay close attention to their arcane and archaic ramblings, for to do so is to imperil all we hold dear.

    Khomeini also called America "The Great Satan", so what else could we expect?

    Well, if Americans are not human beings, then we don't have to act like human beings. We can just go into Iran and tear it up like the animals we are. But wait, we haven't changed in 30 years, and we haven't attacked Iran like animals, in all that time, this guy must be wrong! He is right about one thing, not wanting to talk to Obama, if they're patient, he'll hand them everything they want eventually.
