Video: Obama Chuckles at Wanda Sykes’ 9-11 joke And Rush Limbaugh’s Death: “I Hope His Kidneys Fail”

Oh yes, more hatred from the “caring and compassionate” leftists in this country.

I find it very peculiar that whenever leftists have a chance to tell “jokes” they make the “joke” about 99% their real opinion and 1% comedy.  IT’s sick, truly sick.  This video made me really angry today.  Not only the disgusting hateful words of Sykes, not only her making 9-11 into a joke, but watching Obama yuck it up like it ain’t no thing.

“You’ve had your fair share of critics. Rush Limbaugh said this administration fails. He just wants the country to fail. To me that’s treason. He’s not saying anything different than what Osama Bin Laden is saying. You might want to look into this, sir, because I think Rush Limbaugh was the 20th hijacker but he was just so strung out on Oxycontin he missed his flight… Rush Limbaugh, I hope the country fails, I hope his kidneys fail, how about that? He needs a good waterboarding, that’s what he needs.

Sean Hannity said he was gonna get waterboarded for charity for our armed forces, he hasn;t done it yet. I see… talking about, he can take a waterboarding. Please, you can get waterboarded by someone you know or trust, but let somebody from Pakistan or — Keith Olbermann, let Keith Olbermann waterboard him… I can break sean Hannity just by giving him a middle seat in coach… Oh, I need leg room!”

Oh yea, and while she jokes about Rush’s past battle with pain-medication addiction, she fails to mention Obama’s cocaine and marijuana use.  No word on that huh?

A couple comments from FreeRepublic worth noting: 

“Not only did they wish this on Limbaugh-they all laughed about it.  I’m surprised Sykes didn’t wish breast cancer upon Sarah Palin.  That would have brought the house down.”

“So, political opponent says – I think you policies are wrong and I hope they fail. Response – I hope your kidneys fail and you die… Aren’t leftists always like that in political discourse?”

    she pushed buttons, she did her job. there's truth in jest. oh was there truth! there could have been far more worst things to have been said. funny how everyone ignores everything else, and they were all equally on the same tone. the media always has to poke at something to rant about. they need news. some want to be angry. no big deal. it'll fade in a few months. i'm positive that she was/is not the only one to place those words on Rush, just the first in the media. so it's much easier for everyone to attack her observations. right political parties are afraid of change. they are what is keeping the country from maturing. we're still a very young country. in thirty years or so all the old, conservatives 35- 60 won't matter anymore.

    Seaog, there are lines that should not be crossed. Yes, the world abounds with media cartoonists who earn their crust lampooning politicians and others in the public eye, and a valuable service they provide, but to stoop to wishing ill-health or even death upon those who hold contradictory views for cheap laughs is a betrayal of professionalism. This woman will live to regret it.

    Did you watch the video? I guess being a blind republican you wouldn't have seen everyone laughing (even the president). If I am not mistaken, people laugh when they're amused.

    As far as I am concerned I have heard just as much whining from one side of the spectrum as the other.

    I think if an adult like yourself were more educated you would know what the term 'opinion' means. A comedian who is the winner of; Primetime Emmy, American Comedy Award, and BET comedy award doesn't get there if EVERYONE thinks she is hateful and disgusting.

    Yes, I saw the video. I’m not surprised most of the people (no, not everyone) attending that event would be amused. I'm sure Obama was only laughing because his teleprompter told him to. I do know what I am talking about and do not care what you think. There you go again making assumptions. You can surmise my level of education from a couple of sentences??? I don’t care what awards this woman has received. Her drivel was uncalled for. Even that idiot Robert Gibbs thought she went too far. That is all I have to say about that.
  • Somehow I don't think you'd be saying the same thing if Rush had a "comedian" on his show and the "comedian" was "joking" about Obama being a terrorist, equating him with Osama Bin Laden, while joking about him "dying of kidney failure" and you heard Rush just laughing his ass off about it giving and saying "oh he's just a comedian, get over it"

    imagine *if* a conservative said that about obama at a national event. just imagine.

    It is also clear in your third to last post that if something was said about Obama, I wouldn't have the same opinion. Showing that what you have achieved is small minded assumptions that I would be offended since I support Obama.

    I don't like Rush, but wishing that much ill-will doesn't cut the mustard. When a fairly reasonable person like President Obama gets into verbal harangs with the likes of Rush, onlookers can't tell which one is the true moron; they think both are moronic idiots. So, President Obama should stay out of it and keep a steady facial expression in such events.
