UK muslim teen: “I was groomed for jihad in Britain”

Yeah what a shock, mosques in the Untied Kingdumb recruiting youngsters to blow themselves up for allah. And of course the PC police who run the nanny state will do nothing to stop it, for fear of offending the jihadis.

A Muslim teenager in London gives the first inside account of how extremists are luring recruits

A TEENAGER has revealed how he was recruited by Al-Qaeda-inspired extremists and groomed to carry out suicide attacks in Britain.

In the first insider account of how radicals are preying on vulnerable Muslim youths, the teenager describes being approached by Islamists at a mosque in south London that was used by the failed 21/7 bombers, and indoctrinated at a secret network of squats.

Aged 15, he was the youngest of about 50 recruits who were shown “martyrdom” videos and encouraged to travel to Pakistan to receive terrorist training.

The youth, who is called Adam, told The Sunday Times: “They showed us a jihadist video with the martyrdom flags behind the guy speaking, and the message I got was that I should prepare myself for martyrdom.

“I know a few of the others accepted that they would go [for training in Pakistan]. Some of the young people said, ‘I’m going to go’. That was the ultimate purpose of what these men were doing: what they were doing was training people up to carry out operations in the UK.”

Adam, who is now 18, quit the group after a year. The whereabouts of most of the other recruits is unknown.

“It was quite shocking to me,” he said. “I started to think, ‘Well, hold on a second, I don’t want to kill anybody. Yeah, I’ve got anger inside me, but this isn’t the right way to deal with this’.”

Adam, whose real name is being withheld to protect his safety, is now enrolled in a rehabilitation programme for would-be terrorists.

The scheme is a blueprint for a nationwide “detoxification” programme backed by the Home Office and police chiefs to which 200 people — some as young 13 — have been referred.

When Adam fell under the spell of extremists at the Stockwell mosque in Lambeth in 2005, he was floundering at school, had few friends and was desperately in need of some direction.

He was the eldest of seven children whose Algerian father had died when he was just eight, and his new friends’ talk of Muslim brotherhood seemed to offer the stability he craved.

“A lot of people think that terrorists are recruited in special recruiting grounds, but the truth is that it actually goes on in mosques a lot of the time,” said the gangly south London teenager.

    Don't you get it? We DO CARE. That's why we're speaking out in defense of our way of life. I care deeply about this country and this culture and I will do whatever I can to not allow those to destroy my country or desttroy my way of life.

    I actually think you LACK compassion becuase you sit back and allow evil to propagate itself all over the world and even against your own people/country/religion and sit back and do nothing but preach compassion.

  • Preach? It's obvious some people HATE without knowing anything of FAITH regardless of not having a religious affiliation. I do not PREACH... I simply try to reach for solutions through goodhearted carefull thought and intellectual approaches after meticulous researches to decypher wrong from right.

    Why the he11 would anyone need to feel pain to understand, what you see isn't enough? Why add wood to the fire? Food for thought, think things through before just dishing out how you feel. Your feelings are yours for a reason, others dont deserve to feel the ignorance of a selfish human.

    Hopefully You do care hence you are here and even at those evil spirited websites. But you can't fight fire with fire.

    You wrote "your way of life" as if you know exactly what you go through, if that was the case. We wouldn't be trying to figure out solutions to these issues we face. In other words, many peoples way of life needs change, for the better. Don't fear evolution, fear for those that know not what they say or do and make it worse for those trying hard for real as I.

    How's hat for compassion? Still feel I lack it? How could I better shine compassion? I have a family and history of caring and showing much more than compassion. One shouldn't act out of ignorance for it derails your focus on true matters.

    Either way, this is for the good what I do, think and say, so I could care less only of whats said by ignorant fools. Not that you are one, but see it as a metaphore for oncoming foolish walls trying to derail me or anyone like me.

    Resistence is futile, Gods work is beyond understanding to many, with that I must go deliver old ladies to therapy. Because I care to go on with God and our way of life, not the governments tyranical way of discreet monopoly... I run my life and i hope you run yours before you have no more life.

    Hmmmm......seems odd to me that a descendant of a racist and mass murderer would get on a blog and claim to be such a bleeding heart compassionate person. Must have turned over the family leaf huh?     My advice to England and the rest of Europe that is being subjected to the influx of muzleem vermin is to follow the example of Italy and Greece. They are the countries with the most recent historical experience with dealing with the muz scum. Kick their butts when they act up and start burning mosques (hopefully, filled to capacity) at any opportunity. That may give the human crud the idea that they might be less than welcome and prove that jihad can go BOTH WAYS.
    What is a burnt mosque in Greece? A good start.

Thousands of years of persecution and hatred towards a people? All they want to do is in peace. If Muslims would just stop attacking Jews for one freakin minute, there would be peace...

    Jews don't want war and never have. Why is that so hard to grasp? Stop attacking those would simply defend their way of life. Focus your attention on the Islamists who would destroy anything & everything they deem "un-Islamic" and those would destroy your way of life the second they're able to.

    This isn't just a UK problem, have we forgotten the American suicide bomber that blew himself up in Somalia? The extreme irony is that we invaded Afghanistan to stop the Taliban from supporting Al Qeada for recruiting and training terrorists, and now, Islamists are doing it in our back yards! How can our governments let this continue in the mosques in our countries? I think any mosque that's caught recruiting and training like this, should be shut down. Of course, I think Islam should be outlawed as a terrorist organization, but one step at a time, eh?

We remember Munich 1972. Yet, your interpretation of such facts is that Israel is the hostile party. Perhaps you would be happier if Israel were never to defend itself. According to your arcane logic, this would prevent that country from "derailing" itself. Yes, all those nice Muslim States that surround it would instantly disband their armed forces and all of us would get together to sing "What a Wonderful World" and Mary Poppins and her cousins would rule the Islamic states.     Arrogance? The entire Muslim religion is about arrogance! Allahu Akbar means God is Greater. That means Allah says he is greater than any other God. While begging the question of who the other Gods are if he's supposed to be the only one, that's just the start of the arrogance inherint in Islam. They believe sharia law is superior to all other law. They believe anyone not Muslim is an infidel which allows them to lie to them, try to convert them, or kill them if they refuse to convert. They believe women are property, slaves fit only for breeding. I can go on and on, but I think even you should get the idea. If you don't know these things about Islam, you have a lot to learn. The bottom line is Islam is all about arrogance, hate and deception, like getting infidels to believe they are a religion of love and peace. There's a difference between a clear mind, and an empty one.

    I don't know why the newspapers here behave as though it's 'news' that young Muslims are being regularly recruited and groomed by groups including Hizbut Tahrir. We all know it's happening. The government doesn't seem to give a damn.

  • I AM GRATEFUL, Adam did not go down that horrible dead end road. I am so glad he told his story, though it was not a good story, however it did have a somewhat happy ending, at least for Adam. I will be praying he finds a good job, and is protected from this evil.
    Those bastards, how despicable, how dastardly a deed recruiting young people, or should I say brain washing young people into doing grotesque acts of violence. This is "the worst of the worst." I think with this account of what is going on in mosques, etc. we can all determine these jihads are not worth our efforts any more, "peace, peace but there is no peace," sums it up. We have God's matchless Word on that dead subject.
    Our US government alone JUST gave $400,000 to mosques in our state, which is damning to our state and country. What is wrong with the Government in Washington DC ? We have a FORM OF INSANITY, running our country, which is ruining America, plus setting an evil example to the World.
