Iran blocks internet access to Facebook, Twitter

Memri – In the past few days, Ahmadinejad’s government has blocked access to Facebook, Twitter, the online newsletter of the student union at Amir Kabir University in Teheran, and the Iranian news website Fararu, in what seems to be an attempt to obstruct the campaign in support of Ahmadinejad’s rivals in the upcoming presidential elections.
