Nuclear Iran: 30% of Israelis would leave Israel

by Kal El on May 24, 2009 · Comments

And I really cannot blame those that would. After all, while the US used nuclear weapons to END World War II, Iranian despot Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has on several occasions called for the destruction of Israel. One is left to wonder, if they had nukes, would the Iranian mad mullahs use them? Hmmm…

MIDEAST: RADIO; IRANIAN NUCLEAR ARMS, 30% WOULD LEAVE ISRAEL

(ANSAmed) – TEL AVIV, MAY 22 – Some 30% of Israelis would consider abandoning their country if Iran manages to arm itself with nuclear weapons. Military radio announced the result of a poll carried out by the Iranian Studies Centre of the University of Tel Aviv. “If the aim of the president of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, was to create concern in Israel, he has certainly succeeded in doing so,” an expert from the research centre, doctor Uzi Rabi, commented. He believes Israeli fears are exaggerated because “the Iranian leadership is certainly fundamentalist from a religious viewpoint, but quite rational from a political point of view”. The poll also showed that 81% of Israelis are convinced that Iran will succeed in completing its nuclear programme. More than half of people interviewed think that Israel should use force to remove that threat, without waiting for the outcome of the diplomatic efforts which seem destined to fail. (ANSAmed).

If Iran goes nuclear, I would hope all Jews and Israelis leave for Europe, you will be welcome in the UK. Then we can get on with the job of nuking the whole of the middle east. Ridding the planet of the paedophile followers.

Fear is the key to Israeli actions, knowing that people will abandon the Zionist dream for the sake of security. But when you massacre your neigbors and suddenly find that they are just begining to catch up with you militarily, that's when a people's metal is tested. There is already a reverse aliyah going on of Israel's best and brightest according to AZURE, the right wing Israeli magazine, in an article entitles appropriately: "LOSING OUR MINDS." So while Israel is hemorrhaging a reverse aliyah because of opportunities abroad, fear may well lead to total exsanguination. All this is not really necessary. If Iran goes nuclear Israel's Sunni Arab neighbors will seek its nuclear umbrella as deterrence against Shia Iran. In return, Israel can demand they recognize her diplomatically. But if Netanyahu successfully integrates the Palestinians in the Israeli economy, leaving a true two states issue for after economic integration, the Arabs may return the favor and integrate Israel into the Mideast. Then, Israel can lead them out of their one crop (oil) banana republic economies into sci/tech modernity, thus becoming "a light onto the [Arab] nations," as hoped by its founding fathers. Those who resolve their fears by massacring their neigbors face oblivion, especially if their thesis is a Zionazi-like lebensraum thesis. But if Israel stops trying to solve its "demographic problem" by massacring Palestiinans, it could well be the savior of the Mideast and a truly safe haven for Jews.

Just to clarify a few points:

    * I've not heard anything about this 'reverse aliyah' but I will certainly be on the look out for articles on it. What I do know is that a record number of French and British Jews emigrated *to* Israel over the past years.

    * There is no 'massacre' of Palestinian Arabs going on. The fact that the Palestinian population has increased since 1948 bears testimony to this.

Israel only uses violence **defensively**. If Hamas and its supporters insist upon sending suicide bombers and missiles into Israel, then Israel will *respond*.

    As would any nation.

"if Israel stops trying to solve its "demographic problem" by massacring Palestiinans"

I'm for that.I'd kill'em all. That's EXACTLY what they'd do if they were inside our
    shoes.

    LEBENSRAUM:

Please, take another look at the Middle East map, will you?

    "ZIONAZI":

This utterly ludicrous rhetoric doesn't impress me anymore.Smart
people don't believe in the veracity of this term thus they don't use
    it.

    ISRAELI FOUNDING FATHERS:

They did not anticipate the Islamic Revolution that turned the
entire Middle East upside down, nor had the proper knowledge
of what Islam is all about.
Islam isn't compatible with PEACE nor COEXISTENCE with
    us,infidels.

Ask Hamas if they wouldn't like to be the ones "Massacring their neighbors"...

“the Iranian leadership is certainly fundamentalist from a religious viewpoint, but quite rational from a political point of view”. I would like to ask Uzi Rabi why he thinks their political views are rational, when their political views ARE determined by their religious views. They are inseperable. The only logical reason for them obtaining nuclear power is to have a weapon capable of destroying Israel. The only reason for them developing a ballistic missle with the range to reach Israel is for it to carry a nuclear weapon. That kind of reasoning outweighs fear, and leads to the conclusion it is better to pre-empt than wait to die.
  • JEWHAWK
SirWilhelm,I can assure you that the Israeli Military Intelligence doesn't
share Uzi Rabi's opinion; When it comes to muslim countries, there is not
such a thing as a "separation" between religious and political points-of-view,
for they're one and the same.
For this, the Iranians will pay dearly.Amateurs don't thrive in the Middle East.

Please stop the bravado....Israel can't do to Iran what it did to Iraq in the 1980s as Iran took precautions and Bush's America refused Israel the bombs, the fuel, the aircrafts and the permission . Bravado is no solution to panic. Try using your great minds for a better solution and keep in mind that most Israeli command and political leaders have "dual citizenship" a US passport in the other backpocket, like Israel's new ambassador to the US, just in case they need a place to run to. I am therefore much more concerned for the sabras with no other homeland that need a shared peace and an Israel that is part of a modernizing Middle East. Israel has nukes so Iran can have nukes, like Pakistan and India next door. If we couldn't stop China, India, Pakistan and Israel, how are we to stop Iran? Certainly not by your bravado!
  • JEWHAWK
"If we couldn't stop China, India, Pakistan and Israel, how are we to stop Iran?"

Anyone that could compare an Iranian regime armed with nukes with INDIA
and ISRAEL is extremely ill-informed.Democracies don't behave like dictatorships,
so THREATENING to nuke someone is a very serious matter. The Israeli PM has to
ASK the KNESSET for ANY major military move whatsoever so is,I believe, what
    happens in India.
If Israelis have where to run and hide,Iranians DON'T.They are SCREWED
    and that,Sir,is a FACT.

I just saw a show about Iran and the host visted a mosque in which had a large banner in the worship area that said death to Israel .
