Pakistan: Embassy bomb plot thwarted, man arrested with two tons of explosives

Two tons of explosives. Wow. This would have been messy, had this jihadi not been caught. It is encouraging to see stories like this, of the authorities stopping jihadis before they can kill for allah.

Embassy attacks prevented

A man with two tons of explosives in his posession has been arrested in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad. According to reports the man had planned to blow up the Norwegian and Swedish embassies in the city.

In addition, the Hungarian, Czech and South African embassies were also among the targets for the man’s terrorist attacks, the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet reports.

The newspaper quotes a central source as saying that the Swedish military presence in Afghanistan was the reason for the planned attack.

Also Norway is participating in the ISAF forces in Afghanistan. The Norwegian Foreign Office has declined to comment on the reports, but security at the Norwegian embassy has been stepped up.

One year ago the Danish embassy in Islamabad was attacked, and six people were killed.

    This is not what Islam is....this is what media and USA & Israel wan to present to world.
    Islam means Peace and Love, being a Muslim we even don' t have the right to say you are not Muslim "Kafir" ...... Islam nothing is compulsion to do until u agreed from you heart.

    If u called those Suiciders as Muslim its your big mistake and you are looking with the eye of planted , USA &Israel . they can never be a Muslim who kills innocents for his believing....not Islam...

    I strongly condemn this...and ask you to spend some time with Muslim "i Hope you understand which Muslim I am taking about" you will feel the difference.

    at least 500 meters from the blast...and I'm talking about
    buildings.What would happen to PEOPLE?

    "Jihad", "kill for Allah", martydom for Allah, concepts uniques to Isalm. If Allah is just another name for the "One God", why did he teach such different concepts to his followers than he taught to Jews and Christians? And why are these concepts so different from the love and peace Muslims constantly tell us they are really all about? These are questions Muslims should ask themselves, but never do, so they wind up with two tons of explosives planning on killing innocent people.
