Geesh…

Pastor Rick Warren to address American Muslims [Linked to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood]

Robert has all the details…

Interfaith dhimmitude. Does Rick Warren know or care that in 2007, ISNA was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) terror funding case? The Holy Land Foundation, once the nation’s largest Islamic charity, was ultimately found guilty of funneling millions of dollars in charitable contributions to the jihad terror group Hamas.

It is all a battle of coming to God throught the Blood of Jesus, Period or by works. Most of the "christian churches" teach works just like the Muslim Faith. Rick Warren is teaching his members to change the world with works of love, but not in telling people the Gospel of Christ!! Which is to tell them they are sinners, yet God has 4given their sins at the cross. That simple, but that severe. Advising people to do "good works" implies that God is please with their good works and that all "dogs who do good works go to heaven".....

There is the way of God to come to Him, through the the death and shedding of blood of a subtitute (ultimately Faith in Jesus Christ and His death, burial and Resurrection) as Able showed in bringing to God a sacrifice of a dead lamb, or Cain's way of I think I Can , I think I Can. I, I, I,I, I..... And our I works are NEVER ACCEPTED by God for no flesh will ever Glory in His Presence. Why does not Rick Warren and his massive army understand this. Possibly, most, have never come to God with nothing but Jesus Blood for Salvation? Possibly most, even him, are not born again in seeing that this Is the only way to salvation!! I know in my life as I preach this I don't create a huge following. No, I lose most family and friends. Kind of reverse of that phone program (Family and Friends) in reverse!!
But God be true and everyman a liar. He is coming soon and all who refuse to accept His Grace in His Given Program (not Purpose Driven, but Blood spilt, 4giveness drive) who be cast in the Lake of Fire forever. Including false, works oriented, non born again "christians" along with all other false roads to God "religions. May anyone who reads this who defends works based redemption, examine their heart and come to God in seeing His Holiness and Perfection to be made aware be the conviction of the Spirit that Only the Works of Jesus to save us and then living in and through us to others Are acceptable to God. Be humble and be Saved!!

Do you believe all men and women (Muslim and non-Muslim) are created equal before law?

Do you believe that the purpose of law is to secure the individuals equal God-given rights to life, liberty and property honestly acquired through labor; and that such just law must derive from We the People, i.e.: the majority, without the law its self violating those rights?

Do you believe that individuals have the right to alter or abolish government which becomes destructive of his/her rights to life, liberty and property?

Do you believe that individual human liberty includes freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of press, freedom to peaceably assemble, freedom to petition government, speedy trials by jury, no cruel or unusual punishments, representative elections by secret ballot, division of government powers into its three branches and limitation of federal government power through state government powers?

Do you believe that the individual's sacred right to life includes his/her right to bear arms in self-defense?
  • The Muslim Brotherhood is an enemy of the United States and all who support liberty and Freedom. The Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist organization. You are not welcome here. You don't "value debate". You just seek to instill your will through demanding that we "understand" you and helping us with our "misconceptions" about you. We don't need to be "informed" about anything. We have no interest in hearing your Islamic propaganda.
  • Grrrr!
Just as I thought, this "purpose driven life" of his is way off track, and has been from the get go. Warren has missed the mark! Even if you miss it by a hair, you are way off when it reaches the target. That book of his is out in left field IMO! Which means "In More" Ways than "One" a counterfeit like his buddy Obama.

Rick Warren bothers me. It's hard to define where he stands. From where I see him, it's called "APPEASEMENT". Kiss butt to those who only want to slit your throat or remove your head from your shoulders.

What Rick Warren has not figured out is that Radical Islam is laughing at him. He is another means to make their presence known and they will use any and all means to do just that.

People should wake up and really look at what is going on here in the big picture. Islam has learned patience, they will wait and strike. they will infiltrate and wait.

By remaining silent followed with appeasment All free nations will fall under Islamic ideology.

I'm a Christian with a skeptical eye for Christians like Reverend Warren. I have only scorn for Christian pacifists who are not willing to physically place themselves between Islamic terrorists and their victims; to place their bodies in harm’s way, and to die if necessary in defense of sacred human life and liberty. Our soldiers do this every day, and they are therefore courageous; but Christian pacifists who are not willing to die a pacifist death in defense of all that is sacred are simply cowards. In the same vein, if Reverend Warren does not publically call out the evil of Totalitarian Islamic Sharia Law and Mass-Murdering Islamic Jihad during his speech to INSA, then he will be a Christian coward himself.
  • Hello Storm_Rider you pegged Warren alright. He is watered down plus neither hot or cold, it's all about him. Pray tell, God doesn't get the glory, Warren is a man pleaser.

You have a get right day.
  • SirWilhelm
Perhaps, as a Christian, Storm Rider, you could explain to me how these pacifistic Christians reconcile the New Testament, where they find Christ, with the Old Testament? There's no doubt of Christ's pacifism, but Jehovah was far from that. His leading of the Jews into Canaan, for example, destroying cities and wiping out their people, even their animals, stands in stark contrast to Christ's life. Supposedly, Christ's sacrifices could be seen as being made for his Father's forgiveness, as much as for mankind, but that begs the Three in One question, if the Son was so different from the Father, could they be the same entity? I'm a Diest, but I'm not being cynical here. These are legitimate questions for an obviously intelligent and thoughtful Christian.

"...but Jehovah was far from that. His leading of the Jews into Canaan, for example, destroying cities and wiping out their people, even their animals, stands in stark contrast to Christ's life. " (SirWilhelm)

We should always put the Old Testament in its due historic context...it
was, undoubtly,a SAVAGE environment.Jews were EXECUTED for not
having rock-solid statues as their Gods, unlike all of their neighbors. It was a
time in which to disagree with someone's ideas was the same thing as
    an AGGRESSION.
Democracy and Human Rights are too recent values, nevertheless the
Hebrew Bible was the very first attempt to humanize the law with its
TEN COMANDMENTS that are, until this day,the cornerstone of all we
hold dear in order to live as an organized society.

"Thou shall not kill" was a REVOLUTIONARY concept at that time, when
Jews were being enslaved, raped, blinded, maimed, burnt to death by the
Egyptians,Philistines,Assyrians (the worst of all),Babylonians and Romans.

The Old Testament's God also punished harshly the Jews, when they DESERVED,
as a LESSON to no stray from the righteous path, something we continue to do,therefore God continue to punish us,as a reminder that "perfection" will
only exist as a word in the dictionary and to describe God itself.
Jews are not perfect.Nobody is.That's the fun of it.To strive to do better as
    individuals and as a people.
  • SirWilhelm
I consider the Old Testament's historical aspects before it's religious apsects because I consider them more important. Jehovah dealt with humanity and was dealt with as an entity that could be interacted with. I feel that is the ultimate signifigance of the Old Testament as to the nature and existance of "God".

The ancient world was a savage environment, but no civilization took action against another without the order or permission of their "gods". This was true until around the Biblical War of the Kings, until Abraham and his people were chosen. The changes that began then eventually led to democracy and our modern concepts of human rights.

The Ten Commandments were meant for Jehovah's chosen people, not the world at that time. It was the popularity of Christianity in the western world that spread the Ten Commandents through the laws of the countries and colonies it created. "Thou shall not kill" should read "Thou shall not murder", I learned recently.

The punishment you speak of in the Old Testament was administered directly by Jehovah in person. I've always questioned blaming the bad things that happen in our lives on God since there's no direct interaction that I can see anymore. I feel the same way about those that say "the devil made me do it". I believe it's a failure of people to take responsibilty for their own actions.

So yes, no one is perfect, and yes we should enjoy the challenge of striving to better ourselves.

"The time is now near at hand which must probably determine whether Americans are to be freemen or slaves. ... The fate of unborn millions will now depend, under God, on the courage and conduct of the army." George Washington

    SirWilhelm,
I believe some Christians have the mistaken notion that Jesus, although a pacifist Himself, requires all Christians to be pacifists. This is not true; Jesus understood the need for self-defense; something He personally was willing to forego as He gave His life as a sacrifice. Pacifism is noble when joined to sacrifice, but it only represents cowardice without sacrifice.

Jesus had the opportunity to tell the Roman Centurion to renounce the use of arms but He didn't. Jesus had the opportunity to tell the man who defended Him with a sword to throw away his sword, but Jesus only told him to re-sheathe the sword i.e.: to keep his sword; and Jesus also gave the man a warning regarding the illegitimate use of the sword. Jesus had this advice for His followers:

"And He said unto them, When I sent you forth without purse, and wallet, and shoes, lacked ye anything? And they said, Nothing. And He said unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise a wallet; and he that hath none, let him sell his cloak, and buy a sword."

My conclusion is that although Jesus was a courageous pacifist with a mission of self-sacrifice, God the Father is sometimes a warrior; and He wages just war on behalf of people who love Him and His laws, and against tyrants. I believe God waged war on behalf of the ancient Hebrews; and likewise on behalf of our Founding Fathers, and against the Axis Powers during World War II.

"The safety and prosperity of nations ultimately and essentially depend on the protection and blessing of Almighty God." John Adams

"The time is now near at hand which must probably determine whether Americans are to be freemen or slaves. ... The fate of unborn millions will now depend, under God, on the courage and conduct of the army."

“I have sworn upon the altar of God, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man.” Thomas Jefferson

“Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God.” Thomas Jefferson
