Wow: Obama to block Iran sanctions at G8 Summit.

wtf is this dude smoking?I don’t think there is any interest anymore in trying to get Iran to halt their nuke program.  He’s tryingto make it look as if it’s “unacceptable” on the surface as he’s always said, but then turning around and taking action that is totally contrary to his rhetoric.

I think Obama thinks that Iran is a “tiny country” and they’re not “really a threat” like he said during the campaign.

The United States is opposed to enacting a new set of financial sanctions against Iran that are due to be discussed in the G8 summit next week, diplomatic officials in New York reported Friday.

According to officials, sanctions against Iran are expected to top the G8’s agenda. Sources are also predicting a pointed debate between the heads of the industrialized nations over an appropriate response to Iranian authorities’ suppression of reformist demonstrations in Iran led by Mir Hossein Mousavi and other Iranian opposition leaders.

Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi hinted in a newspaper interview earlier in the week that the G8 is due to decide on new financial sanctions against the Islamic Republic. Berlusconi disclosed that he had spoken with the heads of the G8 nations and has discussed such steps with them.

what amazes me is that he is meddling in the affairs of Honduras and is supporting a tin pot dictator there. In that case there was not a coup, yet the lamestream media are calling it a coup. Worse still, CNN reporter is making out like the army are doing a big crackdown. One person was shot. The demonstration pro the dictator is nothing like those who are against the dictator. He turned his back on the people in Iran, and was probably shamed into making a stronger statement by Angela Merkel. Let's face it, Sarkozy had his measure, and even if we do not personally like Sarkozy's arrogance, I can see that what he said about Obi was correct. This guy seems to do everything that supports tin pot dictators in South America and in the Middle East.

This is another piece of evidence supporting my theory that Obama is a closet Muslim and in reality supports the Iranian regime and agenda as the best chance to damage or even destroy the US and democracy. He is waging a covert campaign both from within and without. His economic and social programs are designed to weaken us from within to make it easier to be destroyed from without. Cuts in the defense budget, and talk of unilateral disarmament, are in line with that strategy. With the media and the Dem party co-operating, unwittingly or not, there seems little to stop him.

This poseur's closet door is slightly ajar is it not SirWilhelm?
If not a card carrying Muslim he is atleast a sympathiser and the end result is the same.
It is fast approaching endgame for Western Civilisation and the world needed a Reagan but we got a Carter.Islam sees non-violent method as weak method, period.
Have you noticed the only time Obama talks tough is when he is castigating his own people?.When strong words are needed to display a position internationally,he dithers like a schoolboy who hasn't prepared for a class presentation:embarrassed and ashamed. All that University time was spent studying ways to hate his country(assuming America is his country)and this is the only time he seems sure-footed.Patriotism is so old-hat.

I've noticed Obama is very selective of who he talks tough too, and even more selective of who he makes nice with. I don't think he's as much embarrased and ashamed as he is caught between his desire not to offend and alienate those he really wants to be friends with while not revealing his true intents and purposes towards them to the people here at home. He's like an athlete trying to throw a game by co-0perating with the opposing team without letting his own teamates know about it. And his education seems to have been spent wisely since it seems to have prepared him well for the role he's playing. It may not be that pariotism is "so old-hat" as a question of where his patriotism really lies.
