I think the US is wise to stand aside from all of it for a while. The muz know how we feel. The mullahzoids in Iran have been geeked up about the proximity of US troops for the last several years, and have seen from the fighting that the US will chew up and swallow any army that's sent against them. That has caused them to make mistakes when dealing with their own people….who are very, very strongly nationalistic. Islam cannot help, by virtue of being a repressive entity, but to stiffle progress, the ecomomy and self expression. As the regime has applied it, islam is going DOWN, and I believe, many, many people all over the world will breathe a sigh of relief. We've all had it with their crap, haven't we? As I believe, so have the Iranian people.

over Mecca “by mistake” (oops!) on my way to Iran…
It'd even help the Saudi regime to save face when critized by the “arab street”
for being in cahoots with their hated “Zionist Entity”.

Biden said while he was in Iraq that the US would probably stand aside if Israel struck at Iran's nukes, after Israel gives BHO's “engagement” policy until the end of the year to work. Now this from the Saudis. Is reality setting in about Iran after seeing how they treated their demonstrators? Does everyone see now what it might mean for people like them to get their hands on nukes? If it's true, it gives Israel two possible avenues for air strikes to travel, making Iran's defensive strategies a little tougher to figure.
