UK Sharia courts put women in their place

by Kal El on July 9, 2009

And yet we STILL have islamotards here on IAC telling us that those top ten quotes from the quran we posted that paint a bleak picture for women are being taken out of context. I wonder what they will say about this?

UK: Report on Sharia courts state women’s word not sufficient – even in abuse cases

Daily Mail report: “Sharia law UK: Mail on Sunday gets exclusive access to a British Muslim court”
– “If the husband has disputed his wife’s word, the court demands her account is corroborated by other witnesses – preferably male. If the wife refuses to agree to give the husband access to their children, even in cases of possible child abuse, the divorce is stalled until that issue is resolved.”
…..
– “A few hardline leaders would like it to be taken even further. One told me that Britain should adopt sharia punishments such as stoning and the chopping off of hands to reduce violent crime.”
…..
– “Dr Hasan tells them that in every part of the world, there can be only one authority.”
– “‘In Britain, the ultimate authority is the Prime Minister. In an army, it is the commander-in-chief. On the bus, it is the bus driver. And in the house, the smallest unit of society, sharia says authority must be with the man to maintain the house.”
– “‘The woman’s duties are much harsher. Biologically, she differs,’ he says. Her duties lie with the cleaning and childcare.”
– “The mood turns black as Dr Hasan continues that under Islam, the woman is seen as someone who needs the protection of a man. In matters of divorce, the right of ending a marriage lies with the man because ‘women have emotions, whereas a man thinks first before he speaks’. “

This is the road we are on in Britain now. The greatest responsibility for this state of affairs lies with our government which has brought us into it because of multi culturalism and cowardice. The media too are responsible. No grassroots debate about Islam is allowed on TV or radio. I fear for the future of the UK because of changing demographics, the fanatically PC government and the ever greater demands of the muslims. God help us (literally) because no one else is helping.

Spot on Southwood !especially your point about lack of "grassroots debate ".
New Labour which came to power as a result of Tory sleaze has been an unmitigated disaster.
What is needed is for Cameron to adopt Blessed Margarate's fearless radical approach to the nation's problems.

hellosnackbar, glad you agree with me. "unmitigated disaster" is absolutely correct. But I'm afraid you are over optimistic about Cameron. He is as PC as Brown as far as I can see. The only Tory who immediately comes to mind as being anyone to heed is Boris Johnson and he is just the Mayor of London.

"We are told to treat cultural and historical identities as fashion accessories, shirts we can wear and change at will. The Multicultural society is “colorful,” an adjective normally attached to furniture or curtains...Don’t you get tired of that old sofa sometimes? What about exchanging it for the new sharia model?"

"We should remember that this view of culture as largely unimportant is essentially a Marxist view of the world, which has now even been adopted by segments of the political Right, united with Leftists in the belief that man is homo economicus, the economic man, the sum of his functions as worker and consumer, nothing more. Marxism doesn’t say that cultures or ideas are of absolutely no consequence, but that they are of minor or secondary importance next to structural and economic conditions."

"We never had a thorough de-Marxification process after the Cold War, similar to the de-Nazification after WW2, and we are now paying the price for this. Many Marxist ideas have been allowed to endure and mutate, such as the notion that culture is unimportant or that it is OK to stage massive social experiments on hundreds of millions of people...But Marxist ideals of forced equality can only be enforced by a government with totalitarian powers, and will thus inevitably lead to a totalitarian society. There is no “enlightened Marxism,” and the idea that there is has ruined more lives than probably and other ideology in modern history. Marxism is an organized crime against humanity."

    Storm_Rider,
this is an interesting article you put the link to. I actually was thinking about old Vladimir Bukovsky while I was reading it and was pleased to see that he gets a mention near the end. Vladimir was there, got the tee shirt as they say.

Britain needs someone like Geert Wilders to rise up and challenge all this multicultural, diversity garbage. AND SOON !

“It is no accident that the European Parliament, for example, reminds me of the Supreme Soviet. It looks like the Supreme Soviet because it was designed like it. Similary, when you look at the European Commission it looks like the Politburo. I mean it does so exactly, except for the fact that the Commission now has 25 members and the Politburo usually had 13 or 15 members. Apart from that they are exactly the same, unaccountable to anyone, not directly elected by anyone at all. When you look into all this bizarre activity of the European Union with its 80,000 pages of regulations it looks like Gosplan…. If you go through all the structures and features of this emerging European monster you will notice that it more and more resembles the Soviet Union. Of course, it is a milder version of the Soviet Union. Please, do not misunderstand me. I am not saying that it has a Gulag. It has no KGB .. not yet .. but I am very carefully watching such structures as Europol for example. That really worries me a lot because this organisation will probably have powers bigger than those of the KGB. They will have diplomatic immunity. Can you imagine a KGB with diplomatic immunity? They will have to police us on 32 kinds of crimes .. two of which are particularly worrying, one is called racism, another is called xenophobia. No criminal court on earth defines anything like this as a crime. So it is a new crime, and we have already been warned. Someone from the British government told us that those who object to uncontrolled immigration from the Third World will be regarded as racist and those who oppose further European integration will be regarded as xenophobes.” Vladimir Bukovksy

When I was in London with my wife on our tenth wedding anniversary, we sat in Westminster Abbey as the choir sang A capella Gregorian Chants in Latin; my hair still stands on end when I recall the reverberating melody, and when I recall the thrill of standing next to the grave of Isaac Newton and the ancient Kings of England. God help you; you have too much to lose. You may require a military leader in the future to defend your heritage, laws and values; and we may as well on this side of the pond.

Multiculturalism is an expression of Marxism, so we are up against an alliance of both Islamists and Marxists.

Southwood,Britain need more people like you.The DEMOGRAPHIC issue is
    everything.
The NATIVE Anglo-Saxon folks are having very few children, whereas the
MUSLIM aliens are proliferating like rabbits. One day,Anglo-Saxon white
people, who BUILT the country since the Middle-Age,will become a MINORITY,
    a situation I deem ABSURD.
If the native population wish to KEEP its own country,it must act swiftly NOW:

    * BLOCK all immigrants from muslim and African countries.Let ONLY people from Poland,
    Russia,etc.
*EXPELL all muslims living in the British Islands.

But as I'm fully aware that Britain was swallowed by the politically-correct movement,
    no protective measure will be taken at all;
That's a very SAD reality,in which the country who gave Isaac Newton,Churchill and T.REX
    will be no more.

I went to see "The Stoning of Soraya M." last weekend. I was disappointed to see that the theater was nearly empty. I wish I could gather every bleeding-heart liberal, every women's rights activist and force them to watch this movie. Unfortunately, I know that in their tiny PC minds they would refuse to believe that this happens with any regularity. I dragged my sister with me - literally. She said that she had no idea that it "took so long" or that the intended victim is partially buried in the ground. This is another reason uniformed people need to see this movie and realize the true brutality these animals inflict. The worst part of the movie was not the visual, but the agonizing sounds this woman uttered with every rock that was hurled. I will admit that I had to look away and cover my ears often. How could the people who gather to attend these "events" watch someone suffering such unimaginable torture and not only do nothing, but actually revel in it? I would like to comment on other scenes from this movie, but I won't since many people have not yet seen it. As I tried to sleep, I wondered if someone was being stoned at that very moment or was waiting, knowing that this would be their fate in a few hours or days. People need to wake up and see what these Muslim jackoffs are advocating. A civilized country that would even think of "shariah punishments of stoning and the chopping off of hands"??? I like to think this could never happen. I would bet that the vast majority of people in the free world do not have a clue about the true meaning of Sharia law. Ignorance is a scary thing.

Dr Hasan shows us the context the islamotards are refering to. "Biologically, she differs," sums it up. In the west, it's "vive le difference", in Islam, being a woman is a curse, a necessary evil. Necessary for reproducing the Mulsim "race"; disposable and replaceable as needed. A beast of burden in the everyday routine. Not fit to defend itself, show itself in public, or interact outside the home. I suspect all too many western males secretly desire to put themselves in the place of the Muslim males so they can treat all women the same way. The signs are there if you care to look.

Totalitarian Islam shares an essential attribute of Nazism and Communism. All three represent arbitrary law and government, i.e.: the law of the jungle; they all release "the animal within."

Totalitarian Islam, Nazism and Communism establish an elite ruling class, religious, pagan and atheist respectively; so that all men/women are not created equal before the law. Each form of totalitarianism becomes an enemy of the individual and his/her unalienable God-given rights to life, liberty and creative pursuit of happiness (property).
