    I would think that one of the conditions for peace would be handing over Osama bin Laden. He'd probably resist that and this administration might not have the stomach for prosecuting it. Then there's the possibility he's been dead awhile now which makes handing him over more difficult. There's always the honorable martyr alternative for bin Laden - suicide - faked or real.
