Report: Israel planned to strike Iran during riots

Israel will attack very soon.  They are waiting for the right moment.  The riots may have been a good time, but according to the report Netanyahu’s request was ignored by Obambi’s administration whcih may be why the attack was called off.

Interesting if true, but the source may be in question:

According to the sources, after the opposition riots broke out in Iran following June’s presidential election results, Israel asked the US government for a green light to strike the country’s nuclear facilities, along with other vital facilities in Iran.

The source added that the Obama administration ignored the Israeli request, that was sent by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, with President Shimon Peres’s signature as well.

Interesting if true, but the source isn’t exactly the most credible one.

According to the source, Israel was serious about its intentions to attack Iran and hit it hard, but the US’s lack of response to the request left Israel frustrated and the operation was called off.

The source also said explained White House’s decision to withdraw its recognition of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s re-election, saying, “We were under Israel and Arab pressure to take back our recognition of him.

There are moderate Arab countries that do not want us to recognize Ahmadinejad.”

    Netanyahu is a WHIMP.His cojones aren't enough to wage an attack
    against Iran without President Hussein's blessing.

    Or,maybe,Israeli military prowess is a hoax.It can't prevent Iran
    from perpetrating another HOLOCAUST.

    I do not trust Mr.Netanyahu anymore.Frankly,I never did...

    If we could see his meeting with President Hussein behind closed
    doors in the White House,we would certainly see Netanyahu

    I put little credibility in a Kuwaiti newspaper article about an unamed US diplomat. I can't see where it's been picked up by any major news sources, another strike against it. I suggest waiting for more on this before making any more judgements.
