I believe her question was based on a false premise. Israel cannot be Jewish unless she is just. Unjust Israel is an oxymoron. In other words, for Israel to begin the systematic and wholesale slaughter of Palestinians, Arabs, whatever, she will have fallen into a trap. She will have given up what makes her distinctive and frankly what attracts the protections of God, the real one. Israel cannot affored to lose her identity as she seeks to fulfill her destiny.

All of this speech in favor of ethnic cleansing goes too far. Check yourself. And take the burden of being Jewish and being just right back up on your shoulders. Do not be provoked into the same demonic behavior as your opponents. The demonic pupose in provoking such rage in you is to make you exactly like your opponents. Resist this. Your real power comes from your love of justice. Lose this and you lose everything.

You may not like it, but the chief defense that Israel has had has been her moral position. She has acted in her own defense against unbelievable odds and implacable opposition.
