Same story went on for Sherry Jones and her book “The Jewel of Medina”. Random House wanted to publish it – got cold feet almost right away. Reason: A female historian, Islam expert Denise Spellberg, had warned that the book could provoke violence and terror. She went so far that she contacted some Muslim scholar (don't remember his title) that something was going on with this book in order to slander Islam. Bjarke Larsen, Pressto (Denmark) published it. He was faster than Free Press Society. Today Sherry Jones is very worried about free speech and does many things to defend free speech.

This is one of the saddest things I have read. This is YALE, for God's sake – one of the bastions of scholarship and excellence and freedom of expression on the planet. Yale, mighty Yale, that fortress of sanity has succumbed to the odious forces of misguided liberalism and, at a stroke, lost the precious credibility it toiled for so long to achieve. How its past peerless educators must be turning in their cold graves! And for what gain?

Flying a WHITE FLAG.

It's a defeatist stance.It will embolden the muslims,proving that the
Western Civilization will bulge at any muslim pressure or threat.
Showing how coward and weak we are,won't bring safety.Au contraire,
it will bring more danger.

The muslims now will DEMAND anything they want,knowing that at the
end of the day,they will succeed.

The Islamic world has had 1300 years to “grow up”. They don't want to “grow up”. If anything, they have gotten worse. They think the rest of the world are the ones with the problems, and they are ready to make us live their way. Nothing is funny to them because they think their souls, and ours, are at stake. Since we don't live by Allah's rules, we're sinners, and they're doing us a favor by killing us and saving us from committing more sins. On the other hand, if they die trying to kill us, they're rewarded. It's like a mathematical equation that adds up for them, but adds up to hell for us.
