I think Letterman should be sent to live in Afghanistan for a month or two, to spend some time in the front lines with the troops, then see what he has to say.

Letterman is a partisan asshole.He doesn't have a clue about
what Health Care means.He doesn't care,because he's rich enough
to have access to the BEST doctors in the world,if he needs.

Those people,the town hallers that protested against President Hussein's
OUTLANDISH plan to socialize America's Health Care and Medicine had
the RIGHT to do so.Compare them with the Taleban is unbecoming to
any intelligent person or a TV talking Head.It's a weird remark.

Letterman's sole hobby is to bash the salt of the Earth Americans,the rudely
called "REDNECKS",the ones who enlist in the Armed Forces,Fire
Departments,Police,Coast Guard or as farmers and small businesses
owners,who happen to go to Church,bear firearms and hunt.

A single "redneck" is much more valuable to build a country than
a HUNDRED Lettermans combined.

Letterman just isn't funny.He never has been.

Actually, FBF, Letterman is embarrassingly unfunny, which is far worse. Why does his audience laugh at his woeful attempts at humour? Are they paid to do so? Recently he stood there wearing his manufactured smile and said, "I wonder if you are like me - if you are interested in astronomy." Loud applause and whistles and hoots. "Yes, I thought you were like me!" Peals of hysterical laughter! Can you believe this? What is wrong with these people? Verily, America will never produce a Peter Cook or a John Cleese or a Rowan Atkinson or a Clive James, let alone a Tom Sharpe. Strange, isn't it?

Letterman earned my undying enmity when he made a very nasty comment about Sarah Palin's daughter. In fact, if I'm EVER in range of that asshole, I WILL break his nose for that comment.....and the consequences be damned! Never heard of those guys you mention.....but we do have Robin Williams.....and then........ there's Joe Biden (if you like "slappy" comedy).

- that Fawlty Towers episode is hilarious. One of my favourites. No matter how many times I watch it, it never fails to make me laugh.

Other thing: He isn't funny.His audience doesn't laugh,but

These so-called comediens are real tools of the administration. Gone are the days when comedy was about comedy and not political agenda. I still promise to break Letterman's jaw if I ever get lucky enough to be in range. That terribly ugly comment he made about Sarah Palin's daughter has earned him that....what a pig. Course, if the comment had been about some "nappy headed ho", Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson would have had him fired, blackballed and had his public apology from him as he hung from a cross on national TV......so I guess just breaking the puke's jaw is just the least I could do.
