Obama’s plan to erase the memory of 9-11

Obama has big plans to permanently engrain the average “not-paying attention” American back into the pre-9/11 state of mind.  The thought of having to defend one’s self and necessarily wage war against evil just pokes at the core of the average liberal leftist Democrat.  Obama’s trying to make sure we keep our minds off 9-11 with this progressive belly-slap of a distraction from what 9-11 meant to this country and to the rest of the civilized world.

(The Spectator)- The Obama White House is behind a cynical, coldly calculated political effort to erase the meaning of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks from the American psyche and convert Sept. 11 into a day of leftist celebration and statist idolatry.

This effort to reshape the American psyche has nothing to do with healing the nation and everything to do with easing the nation along in the ongoing radical transformation of America that President Obama promised during last year’s election campaign. The president signed into law a measure in April that designated Sept. 11 as a National Day of Service, but it’s not likely many lawmakers thought this meant that day was going to be turned into a celebration of ethanol, carbon emission controls, and radical community organizing.

The administration’s plans were outlined in an Aug. 11 White House-sponsored teleconference call run by Obama ally Lennox Yearwood, president of the Hip Hop Caucus, and Liv Havstad, the group’s senior vice president of strategic partnerships and programs.

Yearwood, who uses the honorific “Reverend” before his name, has been in the news in recent years, usually for getting arrested. After Democrats took back Congress, the rowdy activist was handcuffed outside a congressional hearing in September 2007 when Gen. David Petraeus was to testify. Yearwood told the “Democracy Now” radio program that he wanted to attend the hearing to hear Petraeus give his report. “I knew that when officers lie, soldiers die,” he said.

On the Aug. 11 call, Yearwood and other leaders kept saying repeatedly that they wanted 9/11 to be used for something “positive,” “forward-leaning,” and “productive,” said a source with knowledge of the teleconference.

The plan is to turn a “day of fear” that helps Republicans into a day of activism called the National Day of Service that helps the left. In other words, nihilistic liberals are planning to drain 9/11 of all meaning.

    Hamas is also declaring that they won't teach that the Holocaust happened in WWII. We ignore 9/11 and it goes away. Talk to kids nowadays.....they aren't taught history, and they learn more about "twitter", Facebook, and text messaging that anything else. Just ask a kid which came first, the Civil War, Vietnam, Korea or Desert Storm....and tell them to put them in order. That's good for a disgusted laugh.

    9/11 was the opening act of World War IV, the war begun by Totalitarian Islam against Judeo-Christian Western Civilization (Europe now excluded). This war has its military dimensions, but it is now being played out on the political stage where Totalitarian Islamic Sharia Law is pitted against the principles and laws within the American Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights.

    THE HORROR:

    Even non-americans were traumatized by the horrendous vision
    of the collapsing twin towers after being hit by crowded airliners.

    Everyone knows that the entire Western Civillization was targeted
    on that sad day,not only America.

    On everybody's minds,9/11 should continue to be commemorated
    as usual,with sadness,yes, but also with resolve and confidence
    of our ultimate VICTORY against the forces of evil.

    P.S.: Attorney General Eric Holder doesn't seem to be fully
    engaged in that struggle...

    As he has implied with all that he has said, President Obama is placing the U.S. on the strategic defensive. This move to downgrade the meaning of 9/11 is all part of this. Seeing that this war is much larger than what he appears to think, I believe that what will eventually occur will eclipse 9/11.
    9/11 was supposed to be another Pearl Harbor. The problem appears to be that Pearl Harbor only works when a Democrat is in office.

    Methinks you protesteth too much.

    Personally, I think 9/11 should be a day to memorialize and honor the first responders - the police, firefighters, EMTs, etc - who put their lives on the line for us that day, and who continue to do so on a daily basis. Doing service ourselves seems to me to be a fine way to do that.

    I suppose you'd rather have the day used for hyperpatriotic military parades and displays of the latest weaponry, with captive Muslims being carted through the streets in cages...?

    And while we're discussing the subject - I do hope we get rid of that absurd "Patriots Day" moniker for 9/11. We already have one, it's the day they run the Boston Marathon.

    Honoring the first responders is a fine idea, as part of the overall recognition of WHY they had to respond. Must you be reminded that the people that died that day were all civilians? We still honor our dead from Pearl Harbor, and they were mostly military personnel. To differentiate the two the way you want to is to ignore that this was an act of war, probably because you want the war to go away and you think if we declare peace unilaterally, that's what will happen. But 9/11 wasn't the start of the war, Islam had made many attacks against us before that day, the barracks in Lebanon, the embassy attacks, the Cole bombing, this was just the latest and the worst. Memorializing 9/11 should remind us every time of that reality, which is something you need very badly. And Islam will not declare peace even if we do.

Normally I don't, but no other words describe that A$$ hole Obama. If you all come up with any, let me know. In the mean time I will just have to resort to using profanity, sorry about that.
