Another “mis-interpretation of Islam”? If that’s the case, these Muslim societies need some serious re-education.  Where is this filth being taught? It’s one of two places: schools or mosques…both on in the same in my book when it comes to Muslim countries.

The 80-year-old denies that he’s breaking any laws and says he’s simply following in the footsteps of the holy and beloved pedophile prophet Mohammed.

ArabNews.com A 10-year-old bride was returned last Sunday to her 80-year-old husband by her father who discovered her at the home of her aunt with whom she has been hiding for around 10 days.

A local newspaper said the husband, who denies he is 80 in spite of claims by the girl’s family, accused the aunt of meddling in his affairs. “My marriage is not against Shariah. It included the elements of acceptance and response by the father of the bride,” he said.

He added that he had been engaged to his wife’s elder sister and that this broke off as she wanted to continue with her education. “In light of this, her father offered his younger daughter. I was allowed to have a look at her according to Shariah and found her acceptable,” he said.

Maatouq Al-Abdullah, a member of the National Society for Human Rights (NSHR), said there is no system in place regulating the marriage of young girls, something that he said results in adverse psychological, health and social effects.

“Such marriages are considered a gross violation of charters on the rights of children, which the Kingdom has signed and which set the age of adulthood at 18,” he added.

    There seems to be a contradiction here, the wife's elder sister was allowed to break off an engagement to continue her education? But the 10 year old had no say in her engagement? I find that a bit confusing, but it may just be spin, or "taqqiya" as Muslims call it, designed to further rationalize the deal. The really important point here is where the Kingdom stands, will they enforce the the charter they signed which set the legal age at 18, or bow, as they probably will, or have already, to shriah law? If so, they show their word can not be trusted.

    He "denies he is 80"...because he thinks it would be much more acceptable if he were, say, 70 or 60??? Oh boy, the aunt meddling in his affairs? Another woman wanting to continue her education? I guess we can look forward to a couple of "honor killings" or at the very least, floggings in the near future. And what does the "father" get in return for giving his daughter to this vile child rapist? No matter what laws/regulations are put in place, we all know that these sick bastards will continue to follow the example set by their despicable prophet and sexually abuse little girls while hiding behind their f-ing Sharia law. I would love to have just two minutes alone with this "man" so I could teach him that, in my opinion, there is nothing more abhorrent than using a child for sex.

    I just blogged about this earlier and I'm sure that we all find it equally vile.

    Saudi Arabia is one of the worst offenders when it comes to implementing Sharia - women aren't allowed to drive, nor are they permitted to leave their homes without a male chaperone.

    Christians can get arrested simply for owning a bible.

    And now here is legalised child abuse, in perfect accordance with Sharia.
