There seems to be a contradiction here, the wife's elder sister was allowed to break off an engagement to continue her education? But the 10 year old had no say in her engagement? I find that a bit confusing, but it may just be spin, or “taqqiya” as Muslims call it, designed to further rationalize the deal. The really important point here is where the Kingdom stands, will they enforce the the charter they signed which set the legal age at 18, or bow, as they probably will, or have already, to shriah law? If so, they show their word can not be trusted.
