London: Mayor tells citizens to fast during ramadan to understand muslims

by Kal El on September 5, 2009 · Comments

Yeah, because appeasing those that would see you destroyed worked so well, the last time the Untied Kingdumb tried it (Neville Chamberlain and the Nazis).

Boris Johnson: ‘fast during Ramadan to understand Muslims’

Speaking during a visit to the East London Mosque and London Muslim Centre he said Muslims in the capital were ”challenging traditional stereotypes” to show they wanted to be part of the mainstream.

Mr Johnson’s visit coincided with the holy period of Ramadan in which participating Muslims fast from dawn until sunset.

”Whether it’s in theatre, comedy, sports, music or politics, Muslims are challenging the traditional stereotypes and showing that they are, and want to be, a part of the mainstream community,” he said.

”That’s why I urge people, particularly during Ramadan, to find out more about Islam, increase your understanding and learning, even fast for a day with your Muslim neighbour and break your fast at the local mosque. I would be very surprised if you didn’t find that you share more in common than you thought.

”Muslims are at the heart of every aspect of society. Their contribution is something that all Londoners benefit from. Muslim police officers, doctors, scientists and teachers are an essential part of the fabric of London.

”Islamic finance is contributing to the economy by changing the way Londoners invest, save, borrow and spend. There are valuable lessons that people of all backgrounds can learn from Islam such as the importance of community spirit, family ties, compassion and helping those less fortunate, all of which lie at the heart of the teachings of Ramadan.”

Earlier in the day Mr Johnson got into a spot of bother after calling a radio DJ ”a great big blubbering jelly of indecision”.

He was being interviewed by Nick Ferrari on London radio station LBC 97.3 over the ongoing row over who runs the Met. One of his deputies had told the Guardian newspaper that the Conservatives in the capital now had their ”hands on the tiller” of Britain’s biggest force.

The mayor insisted the quotes had been over-hyped but following repeated questioning from Mr Ferrari about whether he had ”admonished” the deputy in question Mr Johnson blurted out his remark.

Mr Johnson had earlier told the programme: ”Sir Paul Stephenson, as everybody knows is in full operational control of the Met and has been ever since his appointment and does a first class job.”

Original article.

Londoners have benefitted from the contributions of muslims? The first thing that pops into my mind when I think of muslims in the UK is the 7/7 attacks, followed by the numerours islamic clerics calling for jihad (Anjem Chowdhury, Abu Qatada), , the many attacks by muslim gangs on teenage boys, the numerous rapes of girls by muslim gangs and cabbies, and the shariah courts now operating independently of British law. But maybe I am just intolerant…

Multiculturalism is part of twenty-first Century Marxism.

"We are told to treat cultural and historical identities as fashion accessories, shirts we can wear and change at will. The Multicultural society is “colorful,” an adjective normally attached to furniture or curtains. Cultures are window decorations of little or no consequence, and one might as well have one as the other. In fact, it is good to change it every now and then. Don’t you get tired of that old sofa sometimes? What about exchanging it for the new sharia model?...We should remember that this view of culture as largely unimportant is essentially a Marxist view of the world, which has now even been adopted by segments of the political Right, united with Leftists in the belief that man is homo economicus, the economic man, the sum of his functions as worker and consumer, nothing more. Marxism doesn’t say that cultures or ideas are of absolutely no consequence, but that they are of minor or secondary importance next to structural and economic conditions. I have heard individuals state point blank that even if Muslims become the majority in our countries in the future, this doesn’t matter because all people are equal and all cultures are just a mix of everything else, anyway. And since religions are just fairy-tales, replacing one fairy-tale, Christianity, with another fairy-tale, Islam, won’t make a big difference. All religions basically say that the same things in different ways. However, not one of them would ever dream of saying that all political ideologies “basically mean the same thing.” They simply don’t view religious or cultural ideas as significant, and thus won’t spend time on studying the largely unimportant details of each specific creed. This is Marxist materialism."

    Superb comment SR!
I'm awarding you theHL Mencken trophy for this.

Apparently Boris the blond buffoon has never read the Quran and doesn't know a thing about Islam.

Later this month it's Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish calendar. We'll be fasting for 25 hours - will Boris be urging Brits to fast right along with us, then...?

Oops! Silly me, of course he won't! It's only Muslims that need to be 'understood'.

Jews, Christians, Sikhs, Hindus, B'hais, Pagans and those of other faiths or no faith don't need to be 'understood', apparently.

And to think I voted for Boris.

    Never again.

    SOUTHWOOD -

That's very interesting, I'd not heard that before.

By the way - any of you guys been following the story about the 9/11 memorial of FLIGHT 93, and the fact that a huge crescent has been chosen...?

    Any thoughts...?

Unbelievable ! Talk about adding insult to injury. Hope it is stopped.

    Beggars belief, doesn't it?

Atlas Shrugs posts on it fairly regularly and I'm aware that some American groups are organising petitions against it.
  • JEWHAWK
Tabatha, Boris Johnson should watch "102 Minutes That Changed America" on History Channel:

    http://www.history.com/content/9-11

I've watched it yesterday. It was hard to sleep afterwards.
  • Infidel_Tabatha
    HI JEWHAWK -

I agree. It should be compulsory viewing for everyone in democratic, non Islamic countries. I'm glad this programme is being aired - there's a danger that the horrors of 9/11 might fade for some people outside America otherwise.

I will never, ever forget that morning, and watching the unfolding events on TV.
  • funkybarfly
    What disingenuous rot!
I hope Boris gets the poison falafal at the first sunset.
    Multi-fucking-culturalism.
Why can't these spineless politicians tell the truth?
Islam is a cancer and contributes nothing beneficial.

Enoch Powell was bloody right. http://www.enochpowell.net/fr-79.html I am disgusted that any thinking person could believe these statements made by Boris Johnson. We live in Australia - I am voting for our Conservative Party next election.

There are too many Muslims here, who have targetted and pack raped Aussie girls, who have rioted in Cronulla. We need to stop immigration of Muslims, and get them out of our country before they destroy us too.
  • JEWHAWK
"We need to stop immigration of Muslims, and get them out of our country before they destroy us too"

Thank you,my Aussie friend, for speaking the TRUTH.

DON'T let the muslims SPOIL your beautiful country.Combat

    way of life.
Here in Brazil we all ADMIRE Australia, therefore KEEP IT CLEAN
by DEPORTING all muslims and preventing them from entering it.

    I'm rooting for you.

Unfortunately there's ONE MILLION muslims INFESTING Brazil,

me the creeps, for KHALID SHEIKH MOHAMMAD,today a prominent

    some years ago...
  • Beejj
Correct, Thumbnail. As I have stated before on this site, if we substitute the word "Muslim" for those Powell used in his Rivers of Blood speech we recognise that he was, indeed, "bloody right." A rare bird was Enoch Powell - a man of towering intellect who had the courage to take a stand in the defence of Britain and its way of life. No doubt he knew it would cost him dearly, as it did, but he was not willing to sacrifice his principles at the altar of political expediency. Now consider this Boris fellow. A buffoon by any other name would be a Boris. There is something deeply suspicious about a man who needs a visual gimmick (his carefully arranged unruly hair; his deliberate sartorial untidiness) in order to capture the votes of the gullible. Enoch Powell, like Harry S Truman, sought public office to serve, but Boris uses his office for personal aggrandisement. The light of truth shone from Enoch, but Boris seeks the spotlight. As Jewhawk asks: what on Earth is wrong with Londoners that they elect the rabid commie Livingstone, and then this figure of fun?
  • hellosnackbar
Boris is really very intelligent(and naturally funny in a bumbling professor sort of way).
He certainly believes Islam is silly(as per his July statement)but was chalked off by Cameron.
I believe they had a blazing row.
It is not beyond the bounds of possibility that Boris said this as a joke;(remember he wrote the book 72 virgins);and can point to his"joke"as refuting the possibility that he is anti-Islam.
Enoch on the other hand was a straight from the shoulder politician.
His honesty and integrity were beyond question.
It was fun to see him on German television explaining in impeccable German why joining the EU was treason.(demolishing quite easily the interviewer's contrary argument).
I'm sure you are right about Boris and personal agrandisement;one suspects a narcissistic
element to his personality;but he's better than that POS Ken.
I believe Boris finds it difficult to play the PC politico and his bufoon image is a cultivated one.
A first in classics from Oxford is not something that is generally awarded to idiots.
I suspect that when the conservatives are elected we may see a very different Boris.
    It remains to be seen!
  • southwood
    Snackbar,

The fact Johnson remains in the Tory party makes him very suspect in my view. All the big mainstream UK parties are a joke. Look at the Tory leader of the Commons - what a clown !
  • Infidel_Tabatha
    HELLOSNACKBAR

    - just to note that the fact that Boris graduated with a first from Oxford doesn't mean a lot. I can tell you from personal experience that Oxbridge has its fair share of morons. Being able to do well in exams doesn't mean a person has any common sense. I met my fair share of twits at Cambridge, believe me :)

I do agree with you that Boris is better than Livingstone, though.
  • JEWHAWK
    Well,according to Mr.Johnson's rationale, I'll have to
rape a nine-year old girl, kill my 14-year old daughter
for having brought her boyfriend to her room yesterday
    in order to understand islam.

Frankly,my dear Londoners, why do you only manage to
    elect CRETINS for mayor?
After that oaf KEN LIVINGSTONE was elected, people asked me
what the heck Londoners did.I just can't answer that question.
Maybe Londoners are plain DUMB as it seems.

    RECIPE TO UNDERSTAND ISLAM:

Watch the 9/11 video. When the WTC towers collapses,
you'll have a complete picture of what islam really is.

Maybe watching people jumping to their deaths from the WTC's buildings in order
to not die burnt alive, you could get a sharper idea about islam.

For me,knowing that Daniel Pearl was beheaded in the name of Islam worked
just as fine to know what islam is all about.
  • SirWilhelm
If Mr Johnson understood the true nature of Islam, he would see that what he is describing is actually the insidious infiltration and subversion of English culture, society and law. The only compassion Muslims know is for fellow Muslims, and that even that, for Muslim women, is limited. It is the British people that must wake up to what is going on, their representatives are clueless.
  • Christine_S
Where does this moron get the absurd idea that Muslims "want to be a part of the mainstream community"? This guy is crazy. When have Muslims ever demonstrated an eagerness to adapt to non-Islamic countries?
Muslims not only will not, but can not assimilate into Western civilization and yet the number of vocal idiots claiming their innumerable and valuable "contributions" increases daily. Their cultural and "religious" beliefs make it impossible to perform the required duties of police, doctors, dentists, teachers, cabdrivers, cashiers...
"Islamic finance"...I wonder how many Muslims have purchased property or vehicles with "haraam" loans before "halal" loans were so readily available, knowing this is against sharia. What about credit cards? Are there halal credit cards? How many Muslims have knowingly contributed their money to the "evils" of alcohol, tobacco, pork products...every time they swipe their card?
Does Johnson really think that these new "mainstream" Muslims will welcome infidels into their mosques?
  • Infidel_Tabatha
    Well said CHRISTINE!

You've made a vital point. It's left wing liberals who keep insisting that Muslims 'want' to integrate into non Muslim society. And yes, some do. But many, many don't - as proven by their constant demands for concessions, and their collective temper tantrums the second non Muslim countries refuse to bow to Islam.

As for all these 'contributions' that Muslims have apparently made - perhaps we should make a list. Thus far, I've got:

    - longer delays when flying, because of security concerns
    - several British restaurants where meat eaters can't get pork, as the establishments have gone halal
    - a trail of mayhem and bloodshed across the globe owing to Muslim terrorism

Er, that's all I seem to have thus far....
  • Christine_S
    Tabatha,

"- several British restaurants where meat eaters can't get pork, as the establishments have gone halal". The same thing is happening in America; restaurants and shops offering halal products and foods proudly display signs in their windows. They are popping up everywhere. I saw one the other day...just 4 store fronts from a Honey-Baked Ham store :) ...Sadly, whenever I ask people if they know the meaning of halal, most do not. How easy it is for Muslims to shove their culture and religion down our infidel throats. Muslim apologist organizations, liberals and those who are ignorant of Islam's agenda (is that redundant?) will continue to pave the way for Islam to dominate.

"a trail of mayhem and bloodshed across the globe...". Nice...I think this perfectly sums up the "contributions" made by Muslims.
  • Infidel_Tabatha
    Hi Christine,

I didn't realise the exact same thing was happening across the pond. I truly hope that America does not follow down the same slippery slope of Islamification that Britain and much of Europe has.

If you're not familiar with it already, then I recommend highly http://www.citizenwarrior.com - there are some specific pieces there that focus on helping Infidels such as our good selves, to convey the realities of Islam to others who are less aware.

Infidels of the world unite...!!! :)
  • southwood
Christine, it is in fact the stated policy of the imams throughout the west that the muslims must not integrate. Indeed, the Quran commands them not to:

9:123] O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him).
  • Beejj
I am puzzled. Boris said this? The same Boris who, on 7th July, 2005 said, "Islam is the problem" and "The most vicious sectarian of all religions in its heartlessness towards unbelievers" while referring to Islam's mediaeval attributes? What's going on? Has the man become mental? Has he been bought? Why should any non-Muslim care a solitary flying bollock about what Muslims feel or experience as a result of their idiocy? Allow me to suggest a significant improvement to Ramadan: no food or drink AT ALL during its allotted time span.
  • Infidel_Tabatha
    BEEJJ -

Perhaps Boris is thinking about all those Muslim votes that could help him become Mayor again when his time in the position is up...
  • Iain UK
The word that turns my stomach in this propagandist pile of tripe is Boris's use of "compassion" That he says that we can learn this from them. Excuse me but i don't think that noun exists within islam.
Under their insane doctrine of shariah law a girl is accused of adultery and subsequently stoned to death for this family dishonour when it is reported to authorities that she has been raped. Criminal proceedings will only when there are 4 independent witnesses of good standing to the rape taking place. So in my mind the unfortunate girl has been shown no "compassion" whatsoever, by the rapist, the 4 witnesses who just stood around and watched if in the unlikelihood event they were ever found, and the courts for there once again "insane" ruling. Compassion does not exist.
  • Odyssia
Maybe he should tell them to beat their wives in order to get a better understanding of how it feels to be a Muslim. And what about giving away their little girls to horny old goats. And a bit of honor killing to complete the experience.
  • Odyssia: Loved this one, truer words wer never spoken. You go. This is so disgusting for anyone to want to understand the Muslims and the asinine statement you will find we have more in common than you think. I don't think so. GRRR!
I can see Obama saying the same thing. What a load of crap.
  • JEWHAWK
    Ljcarolyne,I do honestly can't fathom Mr.Johnson's STUPIDITY .

Just like we measure Earthquakes using the Richter's scale,we could
very well do the same to gauge the intensity of idiocy of our politicians
using the PELOSI's SCALE that starts from one up to ten...

    * I'd say that JIMMY "the DHIMMY" CARTER deserves a 9.

    * London's former mayor,Ken Livingstone, deserves a 9,5.

    * Late Israeli PM,Yitzhak Rabin, would get a 10.He'd easily be
    the first ALFAFA-EATING Jew.A burro that wore a suit...hahaha.
Good riddance to the man who shook ARAFAT's filthy hands.

    * The current London's mayor,Boris Johnson,rightfully deserves a big
    10.

    * SHIMON PERES...ahhhhhhh!!!! Ok.I'll be generous because I'm in a good
mood for Brazil thrashed Argentina yesterday in their own lair (3 x 1),
    so he'll receive an 8.

    * The Argentinian-born Israeli pianist and maestro DANIEL BAREMBOIM
    isn't a politician,but he easily would get a 10 in the Pelosi's scale of
idiocy. If he weren't such an old fool,I'd buy his Beethoven Piano Sonatas
    cycle.But he IS.He ACCEPTED a so-called "palestinian citizenship"...
What a son of a bitch.
  • Beejj
Buy Barenboim's early set of the 32. I have both his sets, and both are excellent (not the best, but excellent), but the early set has the daring fire of Youth. His Wagner is always worth listening to, too, as is his Mozart. Pity about his strange views of the "Palestine/Israel" situation. By the way, is there such a thing as a symphony orchestra in an Islamic state? Do such states ever stage the operas of Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Bellini, Donizetti, Wagner, et al?
  • JEWHAWK
I've got Wilhelm Kempff both cycles, one in MONO the other in STEREO
but I simply LOVED Emil Gilels's better, athough is an incomplete set.
Gulda,Brendel,Serkin's sets recorded in the 1960's and 1970's are just great, too,
It's very nice to know that you love piano, too Beejj.

I dislike Baremboim so much that I wouldn't get his set for FREE.I know
that he's a good pianist but the anti-Israel propaganda he sponsors is unbearable
    to my taste.
  • Beejj
I have all the Kempff sets and the incomplete Gilels recordings. Try the American Richard Goode and the Irishman John O' Conor (pupil of Kempff's) too. And you MUST buy the old Schnabel set! Kempff's set of the five piano concertos is brilliant (as is that by Bishop-Kovacevitch). Have you heard Richter's Op 28? Unbelievable! And what about the two recordings of the Goldberg Variations by Gould? Dear God!
  • JEWHAWK
Well,I'd love to hear Schnabel's but the QUALITY of the sound
    worries me.
    If someone could remasterize those old recordings in order to eliminate the horrible,distracting background NOISE,I'd be delighted to buy it;
Also Solomon and Hoffman's recordings would make me happy, providing the noise elimination.

I've got John O'Connor's set.TELARC's sound is exquisite.
I honestly don't remember hearing Richter playing Op.28,
but I LOVE his Schumann.Just unforgetable.

I plan to buy Richard Goode's set.The reviews are excellent.

So far,Emil Gilels's set is the only one that managed to
    really thrill me...WONDERFUL PLAYING.Period.
  • Beejj
    Oops! I meant Op 31 #2, not Op 28.
  • southwood
Glad you like Gould. Do you prefer the 1955 or the later recording ?
  • Beejj
I can't pick which I prefer, although the 55 recording is more wonderfully "shocking". I would not want it to be digitally remastered or given the fake stereo treatment. What about his Partitas and his epic treatment of the 48? What a man!
  • southwood
His Emperor concerto is wonderful. Up there with Michelangeli and Perahia.
  • Beejj
Ah, I beg to differ. In fact, I believe it to be the worst performance of that work I have ever heard. He had a dim view of it and in his performance he pokes fun at it. His 2nd Concerto rendering is beautiful, though.
  • southwood
I am astonished that you say this. His performance on youtube has 146,000 views and most comments rave about it and I totally agree. I have heard far worse performances of the work including Ashkenazy. I also cannot see how he pokes fun at it, but enough of this culture mongering, the islamists are our concern here.
  • Beejj
Yes, dear Southwood, you have every right to be astonished, for it is indeed astonishing. Why is it that whenever I want to find a book in this war zone I call my home, I can never find it!!! I think it's the Glenn Gould Reader in which you will find the Great Man's pouring of the nasty stuff upon the 5th PC. Fantastic man, Gould. Who else would have complained that Mozart died TOO OLD!!!!!???
Enough of this "culture mongering"? Not at all. If people do not wish to read our cerebral comments, they can quickly pass on to something else. Anyway, I would argue that any discussion of high musical art is in itself an attack upon Islam. Remember the words of that loathsome Ayatollah Khomeini?
  • Christine_S
Beejj, I have no opinion on this, but I hate to think of you searching through your "war zone" home looking for a book you cannot find. I know this can be very frustrating. Is this what you were looking for?

"Notwithstanding [the Emperor's] enormous popularity and the nearly unanimous praise of others, [Gould] claimed to dislike [it], calling it harmonically simple-minded and 'an impossible mixture of naivete and professionalism... nowhere this side of Grand Ole Opry can one encounter more unadorned II-V-I progressions'....

    http://www.skyarts.co.uk/music/article/glenn-go...

If not, please forgive the intrusion.
  • Beejj
Intrusion? Perish the thought, dear lady. My problems is lack of order in my world and my resistance to rectification procedures. In a house filled with books and strewn with God knows how many CDs and LPs it is nigh impossible to find anything. I've got a fridge somewhere ...

The quote you quote (!) I have not seen, but it's pure Gould: he scorned the work. (Number 4 is superior, isn't it?)

I'll plod along till I find the recording I mentioned to Southwood, but thank you for your kind "intrusion".
  • JEWHAWK
Dear Beejj,Glenn Gould was plain CRAZY.
He said that Mozart made a "mistake" by
    leaving Salzburg...Hmmm.Sure.

His Mozart piano Sonatas are ATROCIOUS.I've
bought his set and the Sonata K 331 was played
the way he liked, changing the score's tempi like a
    MADMAN...
After all,He,Gould, knew better than Mozart, then he
interpreted the Sonatas as he saw fit.
My mother wanted to use Gould's Mozart CDs
as FRISBEES to the dogs to catch.

What I really like about Gould is his BACH.Period.
He detested Chopin...Hmmmm.For a PIANIST to
say that about the main composer for their instrument
    must've sounded like a JOKE.
But it wasn't a joke.It was the man who wore gloves
and a hat in the SUMMER,EL LOCO Gould.

I loved him and I miss his humming DURING his
    playing...
  • southwood
Beejj old chap you really must be referring to some other version that Gould recorded, perhaps with Stokowski, but this with Ancerl - listen and tell me its bad and I must doubt your taste to say the least.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XttTpZHQgJw
  • southwood
Tell me the reference when you find it.
  • JEWHAWK
    Well,I like the 1955 music,but the 1981 stereo version
was technically (sound quality) better. The tempos are quite different
    from each other.

I would love to hear the 1955 in stereo. That'd be great.

    Ohhh.There is already a 1955 version in stereo.It was
    a new approach-like recording.Maybe I'll buy it someday.
I'm not a purist, for I support the elimination of ALL noise
from the recording. The problem is when doing so ruins
    the original dynamic range recorded.
  • southwood
Yes I have the 1955 on cd.
  • southwood
Beejj, I saw a video on line (can't remember the site) of some Palestinian orchestra performing in the Palestinian region somewhere. It had a female soprano or whatever and they were performing - wait for it ....

.... an oratorio celebrating a female suicide bomber !

BTW I am astonished at Boris too. I used to like that guy.
  • Beejj
    Brilliant, Southwood!!!
  • southwood
If I ever recall the website I'll let you know. It may have been in a documentary titled "Relentless" or "Obsession" that was on frontpagemag.org.

BTW I doubt if the Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves or the Matthew Passion gets to be performed too often ! LOL.
  • Kal_El
HEY!!! That's harsh man, comparing Yitzhak "The Sh*tsack" Rabin to a burro.
At least burros serve a useful purpose. =P
  • JEWHAWK: U are good with numbers I see. Glad you are in a good mood, have all those you want, they are free. God's blessings always.
  • hellosnackbar
Why not indeed Odyssia?I have a feeling that Cameron is behind this in an attempt to ameliorate Boris's July statement.
It is well known that Boris believes Muslims to be rubbish.
  • Beejj
I would like you to expand on this please, HSB. Cameron is the Tory guy, yes? Will he, in your view, continue to sit idly by as the Muslims inexorably gather strength? Is he just another politician, content to enjoy the perks of a well-paid job, rather than someone who is willing to bleed for deeply-held ideals? Has he ever made any utterances of displeasure about the inroads Islam is making in Britain or across Europe? Did he express outrage at the treatment meted out to Geert Wilders by the British Government? If the answers to these questions are yes, yes, yes, no and no, it matters not a hoot who will win the next General Election.
  • Infidel_Tabatha
    BEEJJ

    - Cameron is, I suspect, cut from the same cloth as Tony Blair. He's a good speaker, fairly quick witted, but it's all style and little substance.

If he wins the next election, I doubt we'll see any real policy changes where concessions to Islam are involved. Cameron - like Brown - will be desperate to woo Muslim voters and so won't alienate them.

I do think the Conservatives/Tories will win the next election, but by default, really. Brown is fast becoming a national joke.

I sincerely hope I'm proved wrong, and that Cameron proves to have more integrity. But consider this: the Tories are the Opposition but they haven't EVEN specified what their *upper limit* on immigration to the UK would be.
  • hellosnackbar
Tabatha the Muslim issue in Britain with respect to the major parties is rather like the old nursery rhyme:
As I was walking by the stair,
    I saw a man who wasn't there.
    He wan't there again today.
I wish that man would go away.
You're right about Cameron! Gordoom is finished!
But like Blair he realises that opening his gob on what the multiculturists might
whine about could result in loss of votes?
It would be nice to know what the blessed Margaret's take on this issue is.

    HELLO SNACK BAR

    - Can you even imagine Maggie putting up with this madness?

She sent our troops to war with Argentina over the Falklands; she wouldn't let Britain sink as low as Labour have let it, no way.

Cameron will be no better than Brown in substance - he'll just be a better speaker, I think.

Cameron is probably keeping his powder dry Beej;just staying away from controversy untill
elected.(meanwhile Gordoom continues to self destruct).
There was an anti- islam demo in Birmingham on saturday which was attacked by Muslims together with other fascists of the left.
This group (Ithink they;re called"English preservation league or something like that)
    are promising many more.
It's possible that the backlash has begun?

The English Defence League - I read about it. It is SO appropriate that the prick Gordon Brown only has one eye. Sorry, girls.
