John Bolton: Obama just put “Israel on the chopping block”

John Bolton speaking to Megyn Kelly about Obama’s UN speech:

“I think he’s put Israel on the chopping block, I don’t think there’s ever been a speech by an American President at the United Nations that was so critical of Israel.”

Bolton also said “I’ve never seen an American president give a speech at the united nations that spent so much time contrasting his administration with the previous administration,” and called it “a speech more designed for an American audience than an international audience.” Bolton was “struck by how personal and unpresidential it was.”

In declaring that it is time for Middle East peace “without preconditions,” President Obama used his speech to the U.N. General Assembly Wednesday to fire a warning at Israel that “America does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements.”

Obama’s stark declaration, which drew applause, was coupled with a call for Palestinians to end their “incitement of Israel.”

But it was the use of the U.N. forum to carry the settlement message to Israel that drew the most enthusiastic response on the floor — and incredulous reaction outside its walls.

Obama just put Israel “on the chopping block,” said former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. John Bolton.

Obama said he met Tuesday with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was not in attendance at the speech, and agreed that the two have made some progress in both strengthening security and facilitating freedom of movement, which have allowed the economy in the West Bank to grow.

Everything NOBAMA does or says is disturbing. All his actions are bringing the USA closer to a muslim country.... and unfortunately NOBAMA will be the one to bring us there.... God bless America......

More and more it seems to me that Obama speaks for himself and his agenda instead of the country's. And now he is trying to use the UN and international law to implement his own anti-Americanism, which he covers by his continued attacks on the Bush admin as the strawman America. The worst consequence of his agenda will be the unilateral disarmament of America, leaving us open to attack, and probably necessitating our surrender, if he fails to destroy our political and economic institutions with his pending legislation, which would have the same result.

President Hussein IGNORED the Kurdish suffering,Tibetan under Chinese Occupation,Greeks in Cyprus under Turkish Occupation,
while briefly mentioned Darfur and was very cautious when he spoke about the Iranian nuclear threat.

    His MAIN TARGET was Israel.
He insists that Israeli "settlements" in what he considers "occupied palestinian land" are the only
issue that stops the so-called "peace process" on its tracks.Israel should "talk" to "palestinians",
while today there are TWO different entities who call themselves as the ones who should be dealt with
regarding such talks, namely HAMAS,an IRANIAN SATELLITE and FATTAH,who once received its orders
    from the KGB.

That's what President Hussein is DEMANDING from Israel.

    I'm FED UP with America.

Get your 3 Billion Dollars, make a big roll with it and SHOVE IT
    UP YOURS!!!!
That would be my speech at the United Nations.

I don't want to see Israel as an AMERICAN LACKEY anymore,
and much less to receive ORDERS from a guy called HUSSEIN.
  • America isn't the enemy. It's the leftists in this country who've taken over.

Of course America isn't the enemy.

    Israeli reliance upon America is.

Israel ISN'T an INDEPENDENT country. It doesn't deserve to have
its national flag waving at the United Nation's entrance near the
    Italian one.
Israel DOESN'T have an INDEPENDENT foreign policy.

    My anger isn't against America,a God-blessed country.
It's against Israel, because its dependence causes HUMILIATION
to each and every red-blooded,proud Jew in the world.

I'm sorry for venting all of this.
    That's exactly what I think.If it is 100% truthful,I don't know,for
    expresses only what I feel.
