I dont care where you align politically. Whether you’re very conservative, very liberal, or anywhere in between, we all love this country for many of the same reasons. Among those reasons are the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Additionally, the privilige of going out to find work, earn a living that you want to work for. Create the lifestyle you want for yourself and your family.
Where we break down is a different story. Some in our country bemoan the “unfair” aspects, such as some people being born into poverty. Some people can’t find a job. Some people have no documentation to be here legally, and so on. Despite these differences and arguements, there still remains that this is the MOST prosperous nation on the planet.
- Here, you can worship which ever God you will, freely, and no one would dare tell you its wrong.
- Here, you can raise your kids to disagree with the government, regardless which party is in power.
- Here, you can work in whichever industry you desire.
- Here, you can find what you call your “dream job”, where many countries in the world, haven’t the luxury of even coining such a phrase.
So regardless where you land politically, what you believe spiritually, where u fit in the classes of society, I hope you will read this with the realization of what it is that you love most of this country. Which aspect of its liberties, and freedoms are most pertininet in your life.
We, my countrymen, are losing OUR country!
Over the last 50 years, we have been slowly changing the dynamic of this free society, this representative republic, into something quite opposite. One where the government becomes so big, so bloated, so beaurocratic, that we have all but forgotten our government is OF the people, BY the people, and FOR the people. Not OVER the people. This government is made up of us. Our friends, our associates, the people we do business with. They are not special, because they make more money, as though we are an aristocracy, they are not above us, or below us. This government is us. I could go run for office in the next election if i wanted to. That is the great thing about our government.
Unfortunately, we don’t realize, or we don’t care. We would rather let them pretend they are extra special, extra qualified, and thus allow them to tell us what to do. They have become so over reaching, they are now trying to tell us how we are to sneeze! When you heard it, it made sense, sure. But when you think of it in this light, it is down right out of line! They want to micro manage our lives.
This great country, for hundreds of years, was built and driven by rugged individualists. People who do what’s in the best interest of themselves, and their families… not what’s in the best interest in the government. Remember, “government is at the least, a neccessary evil, and at the worst, an intolerable one.” They are becoming intolerable. It is time to take the reins back.
How is it, that in this country, a theif gets injured breaking into someone else’s home, and wins a lawsuit for it? A husband and wife has their children taken from them by CPS, for something as harmless as bathtime pictures?! How long do we tolerate this, and feign understanding before we stand up with one voice and say HELL NO!!
This is not an anti-Obama note. This is not an anti-Bush note. This is not anit conservate, liberal, republican or democrat. This is anti-over-reaching-government. Taking away our rights will not be tolerated by me any longer. I will not go quietly. I will stand up for myself and my family, and I don’t really care which party is responsible for which right being depleted. It simply will not be allowed by me!!
Brothers! Sisters! To arms!! Stand! Do not be run over. Especially for the reason of “civility” or being “politically correct”. Honestly?! When did we give politicians the right to decide what parts of our free speech were taboo, simply because the “might” be offensive to someone in some state somewhere?! Where do they get off taking this responsibility upon themselves?! Absolutely unacceptable! It is time to take back the rights that were endowed upon us by our creator and no longer allow these governments, and administrations the right to run roughshod all over us.
TO HELL WITH CIVILITY! If you’re wrong, I’m going to tell you so! If I’m wrong, i hope and expect that you will tell me so! Lets fight for what we love. The time is now. Now…..or Never. You decide.
