My father used to sell lemons on the street corners to buy pencils for school. He grew up in the days of Jim Crow. He road in the back of the bus. He wanted to be a doctor. He had one teacher, a Jewish teacher as a matter of fact, who told him he could do it. She encouraged him, gave him extra work and called him doctor in the classroom. He and six of his classmates became doctors. He was one of the doctors in attendance in her last illlness. Dad was admitted to a major medical school long before anyone ever thought of affirmative action.When it was discovered that he was Black, they deferred his admission as it was their policy at the time to admit a Black student every other year. Dad had made it in an off year. He sent them a letter and told them to go to Hell. He went to a traditionally Black medical school and became a doctor. To get to that point he had worked like a man possessed. He worked as a caddy in the country club that does not admit blacks to this day. He served in the army in the Korean war. As the Lord would have it, he later taught medicine at the medical school that had deferred his admission. He had paid a high price He was a compulsive workaholic until the very end. He never lost his deep distrust of white people, though he functioned professionally among them and gave the same level of color blind, excellent care to all who came to him. He was fiercely independent. His strength was in God. His traditional Black Christian church preached the Bible. An ersatz Christian, who was really a Muslim in disguise, would not have been tolerated in his time. He would have been shown to the light or to the door. My father would take patients' calls and leave at all hours of the night. Sometimes, as a little girl, I would waken to hear hymns being sung by my father at the top of his lungs at one or two in the morning . It was one of the ways I knew he had come home.

I do not believe that the rules for going forward for any people have changed. Black people are not going to make it on dependence or thrive on resentment. Nor should we. Our heritage requires that we reject supine behavior and fight. We can beat this by our Lord, our labor and our fierce independence.

I recommend to all Muslims to give up whining. Take the chip off of your shoulder, put your shoulder to the wheel and push. Drop that devil Mohammad and his ridiculous Koran. Place all your chips on liberty and freedom and Jesus.The advice I recommend to you I recommend to Black people, to all people and for myself. I may not have helped anyone else with this, but I have surely encouraged myself. I was getting a little flabby.

I want to see him politically defeated in 2012 by
a FISCALLY CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN.

This will make myself happy.
To cook up a complicated scheme to oust his barackness from
the White House will do a great political damage to the Conservative
Movement.

It would be like the proverbial shooting our own foot.
