Hussein on Hasan: “He may have cracked from stress”

I want to make sure I don’t insult all the douchebags around the world when I equate them with this guy:

Even within the extraordinary military that we have — and I think everybody understands how outstanding the young men and women in uniform are under the most severe stress — there are going to be instances in which an individual cracks. I think the questions that we’re asking now and we don’t have yet complete answers to is, is this an individual who’s acting in this way or is it some larger set of actors? You know, what are the motivations? Those are all questions that I think we have to ask ourselves. Until we have these answers buttoned down, I’d rather not comment on it.

    The running joke in "Mars Attacks" is that the aliens slaughter humans right and left while shouting, "We come in peace... we are your friends... do not be afraid!" Well, at least that USED to be a joke. Now, it's everyday politics, and nobody bats an eyelash.

    Some Muslim guy who idolizes suicide bombers and tells his American pals they are evil, guns down 30 people while screaming "Allahu Akbar," but IT'S NOT JIHAD. He just snapped (lots of people who snap scream "Allahu Akbar," it's some kind of limbic function). Hey, really, he came in peace, he was our friend, we shouldn't be afraid of him, he's not a jihadi, no, no, no... he's just a medically unfortunate son of a bitch. Hope'n change, hope'n change, hope'n change, yes we can.
