Video: Obama Won’t Rule Out Jail Time For Not Having Health Insurance

by Infidelesto on November 10, 2009 · Comments

If it came down to signing the bill with a measure to throw people in jail if they don’t buy insurance, Obama will sign it, even if he’s slightly uncomfortable with the idea. A little tyranny never hurt anyone did it? Um…

You see, his “legacy” is at stake with this health care bonanza and if he doesn’t get “something” passed, his hope and change reputation may be forever tarnished. Something as minor as a clear violation of Constitutional freedom can’t possibly convince Obama to veto this could it? Oh wait, I forget, according to the left, the Constitution is a “living breathing document”, so all that freedom stuff? Who needs it anymore when you have “hope and change”?

exit question:

Surely there will be A LOT of people who refuse to buy insurance if and when this thing passes.  Imagine the media bonanza of people being arrested in their own homes for refusing to buy into the government plan.

That’s a good way to start another America revolution…

  • How about jail time for Obama, for not showing his BC. What a lousy guy, and government.
Pill-osi would love that wouldn't she. She's the man, and Obamakins her puppet boy toy. What a

If this bill passes, and it is a big question in the Senate, then it will become a Constitutional issue with our fundamental freedom at stake. Many believe there is nothing in the Constitution which gives government the power to make anyone buy insurance. Obama and his followers are counting on the Supreme Court to decide otherwise, in their favor. If they do, it will be one more spadefull of dirt on an already dead document. Then the question will be, will We the People stand for it?
