I admit, not those exact words, but you get the point. Here’s what he said today in China:
“The rise of a strong, prosperous [Communist] China can be a source of strength for the community of nations,”
Sure, Barack…
Meanwhile…China detained several political dissidents ahead of Obama’s visit to the country.
Is it too much to ask to throw in a few words in defense of political freedom and free speech? Or would that ruffle China’s feathers too much? I should expect by now that Obama standing up for freedom is somewhat of an afterthought.
