And Dubai is supposed to be an example of a moderate islamic emirate. This just goes to show that moderate islam is a myth.

UAE police give haircuts to ‘indecent’ youths

Middle East News

Cairo – Police in the United Arab Emirates cracked down on youngsters at shopping malls who violated so-called ‘decency laws,’ media reported Saturday.

Scores of youngsters were detained by police in the Ras Al Khaimah emirate for sporting ‘unusual hair cuts’ and clothing that showed parts of their bodies immodestly, the Gulf News reported.

Some of the teenagers were given haircuts by the police, in an effort to enforce the conservative code of the Gulf country.

Parents were summoned to sign pledges that they would educate their children in a ‘decent manner.’ The families were reported to have been pleased with the police for helping them discipline the wayward children.

I'll give muslims credit for one thing, they know how to deal with hippies.

Great, this is great! The more heavy-handed and tyrannical their police are to their own population, the more dissatisfaction and turmoil it causes within their own country. These Islamic governments are still operating from precepts established hundreds of years ago, whereas their youth see the freedoms and liberties others around the world are enjoying via the internet! Longing for freedom and desire for liberty will win over bullets every time, but this suppression will only hasten their own regimes downfall. Brutalize as many as you want, you Islamic thugs, and watch your serfs step on your faces! Perhaps not today, but soon....very soon.

Thank you LORD for not allowing me to live a hellish existance under a Muslim regime!!! G-d bless AMERICA and all that it stands for. I cannot imagine someone dictating to me how my child should wear his hair! Especially a government which punishes rape victims as if they are the culprits. This type of regime has no business telling people what to do!

    Great post, Infidelista.

More people should thank God for not being subject to such nonsense.

It's just a drop of stupidity into the islamic ocean of backwardness.

Does Islam really belong to our century ?
    Nope.

Are they poised to force us all to live like them ?
    Yep.

The question is : Are we gonna ACCEPT it ?

"Some of the teenagers were given haircuts by the police....":
    Classy.
Detained for crimes occasioning grievous hirsute expression;then humiliated without trial or right of appeal. The reaction of their parents highlights the unbridgeable gulf between civilisation and "culture".
