there is only one solution to this. every christian in paris should carry @ a bag of pig blood, and spill it on the ground before they get a chance to worship. let's see them kneel in that! or maybe just hang out and watch them, eating some pork. it's one thing to love your religion and want to worship your god...it's quite another to take over streets and force christians to observe muslim holy times. it's called sharia creep, folks....little by little, they are trying to take over everything.

i say, if they want to pray, fine...just don't inconvenience others when you do it. aren't there plenty of mosques they could go to to pray? i'm sure it would be different if christians blocked the street in front of a mosque to have sunday prayers, though, somehow that wouldn't be politically correct.

In most Muslim countries, if the Friday prayers spîlls over into the street and blocks traffic the police come and pull those on the street away.

The reality is that there is a very different group in Europe whom are starting to be referred to as Euro-Muslims. They are arrogant, they milk all the benefits they can from overly liberal European laws and demand or expect things that are actually not appreciated, wanted or tolerated in the real and existing Muslim World.

As long as the European authorities allow radicals to dominate the immigrant population, the usual problems in dealing with immigrant youth of any nationality, race or religion will be also increased.

So yes, SirWilhelm is correct that man Muslim countries are not mature enough to allow the same in their countries but at the same time it can equally be argued that they expect the European nations would not tolerate such behaviour as well. So double-standards - not really. Here in Morocco, with a strong established Jewish tradition there are Jewish festivals and pilgrimages that draw in Jews from all over the world, there events certainly dominate the towns and cities they can be disruptive but at the same time, the organizers are smart enough to negotiate and coordinate with the local authorities. Euro-Muslims are obviously not that smart or respectful.

SirWilhelm's reading of Efraim Karsh is to some degree unfortunate. Karsh is famous for writing some brilliant histories of independance movements in the Balkans of which I have read and appreciated, but is more famous for allowing his own personal political agenda takes priority over scholarly work. Proffessor Toth (Oxford) correctly stated that Karsh was a subject of "unbalanced rhetoric customarily employed by dogmatic partisans of the Arab Israeli conflict" and even more condemning "ignore most of nineteenth-century history", an academic "no no".

Renowned political scientist and Ian Lustick considered Kash to be "malevolent and the nature of his analysis as erratic and sloppy."

Professor Yezid Sayigh (Department of War Studies at King's College London) said that Karsh is "simply not what he makes himself out to be, a trained historian".

Most real academics, not the Kash's or the wannabe-academics like Spencer, Fitzgerald and others, either make things up, chose only those parts of history that suits their agenda or scandal-value and thus fail to do what historians are meant to do - simply write what happened.

Thus, Kash talks about the spread of Islam and reads a multitude of motives that somehow make Muslims different from other expanding empires, cultures and other various factors that makes up the history of man "world-wide".

Just imagine what would happen if Christians or Jews tried to do this in a Muslim country. Of course, a double standard is what we've come to expect from Islam. That and their steady infiltration of greater numbers in every infidel country so they can eventually overwhelm them internally. I've been reading "Islamic Imperialism A History" by Efraim Karsh and I've been enlightened on a few things already. Islam was imperialistic from the very beginning and they did not actually convert everyone by the sword. They actually preferred to keep Islam for the Arabs so that they could get income from the infidels in the form of loot, tribute and taxes. During the 200 years of the "Golden Age" of the Islamic Empire there were a lot of good things that came out the elite and it's wealth, at the cost of the vast majority of it's subjects living in poverty. The religion was for the masses, to keep them in line, while the ruling elite lived it up with wine, women and song. Sound familiar? Saudi Arabia? Yemen? Dubai? I haven't finished the book yet, but the bottom line so far is that Islam is no different than any other despotic political system mankind has come up with. Only the trappings are different. Today they use their masses to infiltrate so they can take away what freedoms the infidels have, and in the end, only their elite will benefit, as the numbers of slaves increase.
