New Look for 2010

by Infidelesto on December 19, 2009 · Comments

iacavYea, I know I’m a little early, but I got antsy.  As you can see I’ve updated the look of the site.  Everything that was here before is still here.  Although there are a couple additions with more still coming.

  • I updated the About page. Make sure you check it! (It’s been way too long since the last update)
  • Fixed a bug on the “Contact Page” so emails aren’t delayed and come instantly to my inbox.
  • Added “categories” in the sidebar so you can research some of our 0ver 4000 posts over 3 years.
  • Updated the “random quote generator” in the sidebar (did you know hitting the “next” link loads the next quote without reloading the whole page?) You can view several quotes very quickly.
  • Latest posts are now all inline on the homepage. (Back to the old school way). Still need to click on the post though to leave a comment.

I’ve got a couple more things to adjust in the next 24 hours so bear with me.  If there’s anything you want, just let me know.  admin[at]infidelsarecool.com

Good Job Infidelesto; I really like the new look, and I much prefer the "old school" listing of comments - it's much easier to follow the flow of thought (or lack thereof) running through the comments.

I'll make one comment on the following quotation by Karl Marx which is on the Random Quote section:

“The worker of the world has nothing to lose, but their chains, workers of the world unite.” Karl Marx

It didn't turn out that way under Marxism. The truth, based on the lower parts of human nature, worked out more like this:

"The non-worker (proletariat class of tax-eating, non-disabled poor) of the world has nothing to lose but much to gain from the chained-to-work, tax-paying middle class; non-workers of the world unite."
