US: Man charged with murder in ‘honor killing’

There is no honor in killing

This is an update to a previous post where we reported on this psycho running down his daughter with a jeep for being “too Westernized”

An Iraqi immigrant accused of slaying his daughter in an “honor killing” has been charged with first-degree murder and could face the death penalty, Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas said Monday.Faleh Hassan Almaleki, 48, of Glendale, is accused of using his Jeep Cherokee to run over his daughter, 20-year-old Noor Almaleki, and another woman in a Peoria parking lot on Oct. 20. His daughter died of her injuries.

Almaleki was reportedly furious with his daughter for becoming “too Westernized,” police said.

… At Almaleki’s initial court appearance on Oct. 31, county prosecutor Stephanie Low said he admitted deliberately running down his daughter.

“By his own admission, this was an intentional act, and the reason was that his daughter had brought shame on him and his family,” Low said. “This was an attempt at an honor killing.”

Apparently, the girl had married in Iraq, but came back with another man, who he also tried to kill.

    To night in Malaysia is about 23:10 (11:10). and Christmas will be a celebrated a few minjutes from now. B the way it is the first time and by chance I surf this Infidels are Cool net. The terrible conduct of Muslim as found in the net is ver much regreated. The left their war torn country to come to the promised land of the free and home of the braves. but still bringing along their tribal rule. (tribal culture is acceptable as the Indian in the Reservation)

    I do not wish to be carried away in the polemics however I wish all of you "Merry Christms" and hope all of ou could visit my country Malaysia and Islam in this country. Then at lease you get to see one good Muslim country to appreciate. I can be your host and guide once your Northwest land in my country.

    Some points I would like to make here, another topic that because of media, collective xenophobia and basic agendas gets skewered no end and of course, the below BS is the result.

    Honor Killings is in fact a global-cultural and tribal problems. Most certainly the Arab-Turkic world and the Indo-Persian world similarly are the best and most prominant examples. Note the last. South Asia, both Hindu, Buddhist and Muslim all suffer from this problem as much as, if not more in numbers, than the MENA and Turkic regions put together. The MSM and agenda-groups are currently targetting and finding anything interesting in negative Muslim news, so you hear more about it. But that does not change the realities.

    The facebook link, like most major anti-HC, FGM and domestic violence sites acknowledges this and does not refer to Islamic or Muslims, because it is cultural and regional. The major websites also point out similarly that often if it is in a Muslim country it is called honor killing but when it is in Russia, Ukrain, India, Brazil or the United States and not done by Muslims it is called domestic-violence-related murder. Yes, the Arab and the Turkic world will use the excuse that they breached some form of family honor, the rest just say, she deserved to die. Because Muslims are "overtely religous" they will always claim religoun is a part of everything.

    India has the highest level of wife-killings and female infanticide in the world, with Nepal I have noted on three different studies being singled out as having the highest level of spousal abuse with 1/3 wives claiming to have or are being beaten and abused phsyically and sexually by their spouses on a regular basis. India does not class killings into categories such as honor or other, but marriage out of "caste", or not accepting "arranged marriage" being the main cause of murders, non-fullfillment of dowry obligations coming in a third.

    The abuse of women is global, certainly the Arab-Turkic and Indo-Persian world has made it into an art-form. Add to that, backward tribalism and radicalism makes things worse, for the simple fact that the condition of women in a 7th century world was even more terrible.

  • I just don't agree. I follow hundreds of news organizations from dozens of
    countries all over the world every single day. I don't only cherry pick the
    Muslim honor killings and not the others. There's simply an OVERWHELMING
    amount of honor killings coming from Muslim communities. We're even seeing
    it now in Europe and America. Sure there may be honor killings from other
    cultures and I'm not disputing that they exist, but at the same time, you
    can't ignore the facts. The sheer volume of Islamic-related honor killings
    doesn't even compare to the rest.

    People who don't want there children to become "Westernized" should stay in their dung filled countries in the East. This poor woman, killed by her own father....how senseless! He should rot in jail for the rest of his life, and when that is over, he should go to hell!
