He was captured 6 months ago, and this is the second video released of him. Pray hard for this kid. I can’t imagine what he may be going through.
This video is kinda fishy. Bergdahl is wearing a helmet and sunglasses. He also is confidently spouting reverse-psychological talking points eg. Afghanistan is another Vietnam. In the first video released within days of Bergdahl’s capture. Note he is wearing casual clothing, is not wearing sunglasses and is visibly nervous. There is no post-production used, just raw video.
The video below is 2 minutes long and has professional post-production values including sound-synchronised effects. I don’t doubt that the Taliban have facilities to do this but the question has to be asked – why would they bother? And, how did this video fall into the hands of Western media?
