Rasmussen: 58% Say Panty Bomber Should be Waterboarded

by Infidelesto on December 31, 2009 · Comments

Thank God a  little bit of sanity still exists in this country…

Fifty-eight percent (58%) of U.S. voters say waterboarding and other aggressive interrogation techniques should be used to gain information from the terrorist who attempted to bomb an airliner on Christmas Day.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 30% oppose the use of such techniques, and another 12% are not sure.

But hey, according to the Appeaser-in-Chief, this was an “isolated extremist” and I’m sure any form of interrogation would be considered “torture”.  Maybe we should just ask him really really nicely and maybe he’ll tell us something.

I'm all for waterboarding, then after getting whatever information we can, re-attach his explosive underwear to him and blow him up into little pieces. (make sure that pig's blood is thrown on him) Then he could be rewarded with his 72 camels or goats or whatever....
  • JEWHAWK
You did inspire all of us,Señor Matamoros.
    Pure wisdom.

It's a pity that people like you aren't ruling our countries.

    I'd surely vote for you.
  • Tonto
I really don't care what form of "extraction of info" they use. Once all useful info has been found out and verified, take him out back and shoot him in the head. Same with the "Gitmo" denizens. Wring them like a dishrag and waste 'em. No trial, no mercy.
  • James in Texas
Waterboarding is too good for him, he should be strapped to a Nuclear Missile that is fired towards Mecca during the Hajj. It's time to show the Islamic world that we mean business.
  • JEWHAWK
    James, have you seen Stanley Kubrik's " Dr.Strangelove " ??

Major Kong ( Slim Pickens ) fell from its B-52 straddling a nuclear
weapon over its commie target. Simply one of the very best movies
    ever made !

Anyway, your post faithfully translates what I think, too.

Oh,man...the CONSEQUENCES of such action could only
dwell in someone's most fertile imagination.

The muslims would go ape watching a NUCLEAR MUSHROOM
    covering Mecca on CNN...

They already aren't very amicable (to say the least), so one can wonder
what they'd do after that !! HAHAHAHAHA !!

As far as I'm concerned, I'd open a CHAMPAGNE bottle and...
    buy a BULLET-PROOF vest soon afterwards !
  • Storm_Rider
    Jewhawk,
Dr. Strangelove was a great movie; but its purpose, aside from great entertainment, was to make Americans fearful of nuclear war; and by corollary fear the American nuclear arsenal. I do not fear our nuclear arsenal; I'm glad we have it because our enemies will always have nuclear weapons - even if they say otherwise. I don't fear our nuclear arsenal; I fear and hate evil men, and I wish to defeat them by whatever means necessary.
  • Tonto
Guns, knives and bombs don't kill people. People kill people.
  • Storm_Rider
Just as the second amendment secures the individual American's God-given right to bear arms in defense of his/her own life; our nation has the same sacred right to defend herself, if necessary with nuclear weapons.

Human evil is the most dangerous and destructive force in the Universe - not nuclear weapons.

  • Tonto
    Roger that.
  • James in Texas: Funny and another great idea. Texans always thing BIG! GRRRRR

BTW we have enough of you guys to run the country, and be safe. Let's roll. Talking about CHANGE!
  • Beejj
In case I have not made myself abundantly clear in my response to Storm's message, allow me to elucidate. This piece of Islamic filth should be beaten to within an inch of his life in order to ascertain the identities of those who led him to embark upon such a murderous venture. To hell with waterboarding. A pair of piers applied to the knuckles and toes works wonders, I am told, as does an acetylene burner directed at the soles of the feet. See if Allah comes to his aid, then. Muslims have turned their back on life, so let's show them the alternative. Shit, shit, shit, the whole sorry lot of them.

A form of interrogation that I've not heard about for years is known as chemical debriefing.
The subject is given an intravenous dose of methohexitone or thiopentone (ultra short acting barbiturates) until they are at the boundary of conciousness.
I'm told that provided the questions are well formulated ;a great deal of information can be gleaned.
Certainly in his case the most severe pressure should be applied to obtain what he knows(especially from whom he
    got his Yemeni address).

  • Storm_Rider
Yes, he should be waterboarded; and if that doesn't work use other harsh techniques such as sleep deprivation, solitary confinement, severe psychological stress, bread and water diet, etc. If this enemy, or any like him, is deemed to be of no value to us, then he should be shot by firing squad or hanged by the neck as an enemy spy - caught red-handed while in civilian clothing. We are at war.

Waterboarding is not torture - this is torture:

I do support ANYTHING against Bernie Madoff AND the MOBSTERS who were born in
his family...Oh,no...I did not forget his WIFE and SONS. They ALL belong to JAIL.
To show any leniency in this case is to be ANTI-AMERICAN.

    EXECUTION ?

Of course I desire that, BUT first Madoff should be " persuaded " to tell
WHERE he stashed the money he stole.

From now on, the "Ponzi Scheme" ought to be renamed to " Madoff Scheme".

It was the DARKEST moment of American Jewry ever.

    WHAT A SHAME.
    WHAT A DISGRACE.

Madoff is even WORSE than the infamously despicable ROSEMBERG COUPLE...A stinky stain in the American Jewish Community's otherwise good reputation.

Anyone who is known to be a threat to American life should be spared no mercy if such treatment saves American lives. What is an innocent American life worth? Have the liberals pondered this question? Do they value the lives and well-being of rogues above those of those who fly to visit their grannies? Do these civil libertarian arseholes believe that mid-air disaster cannot befall them? Will they only see sense when tragedy knocks on their door? Will they forgive the perpetrators of such cowardly mass murder and continue to ensure such practices continue by protecting the villains? Will they continue to abide by the principle that death of their fellow men is preferable to "trampling on the civil rights" of those who would cause such suffering? Do they object to being delayed at airports in the cause of saving lives? See? I am safe! How date you subject ME to such scrutiny!! Yeah ....... what about that swarthy fucker over there, though? He's OK? Of course he is! You have to trust people! To which I ask, "Why?"

Waterboarding? Rubbish! I can think of far more effective techniques. So can John McCain .... just ask him.
  • Storm_Rider
Modern American "Liberals" are not liberal in the classic Thomas Jefferson sense. "Liberals" invariably allow government-given "rights" for our Marxist and Islamist enemies to trump the natural, unalienable God-given rights of American citizens. Our sacred rights to life, liberty and private property honestly earned through creative labor trump all reversible government-given "rights."

Modern American "Liberals," when it comes to our sacred human rights, are inching closer and closer to the Nazis and the Communists.
  • Beejj
Yes, SR, I am fully aware of how language changes. David Lloyd George - a Welshman, I am proud to say -- was perhaps the one man most responsible for the defeat of Germany in WWI, and he was a Liberal, as the word was then understood. He was a far cry from the rubbish who cringe under the banner of that word in these remarkable times. He liked the ladies, too ...........! These days, Liberal = gutless, craven, blind to reality, avoid unpleasant truth, appease at all costs, be nice to those who would destroy us, don't rock the boat. They disgust me.
  • Necrowulf
I usually call those liberals hippies; God, I hate hippies!
  • JEWHAWK
Terrorists should be TORTURED without ANY sort of mercy.
Were they merciful to Daniel Pearl and Kenneth Bigley,by the way ?

    Nope. They were NOT.

RUTHLESSNESS should be a TWO-WAY street. They must not have the monopoly
of cruelty. In the Arab culture, violence is VERY RESPECTED and even ADMIRED.
    It's a primitive, barbaric, medieval-minded environment.

Talking softly and diplomatically is perceived as a SISSY's attitude in their
    missing-link's brains.

    FINANCIAL TERRORISM:

I'd love to torture BERNIE MADOFF...I'd PAY for waterboard him. After that, I'd beat him
to a pulp with an iron crowbar.

I really do not want to see that two-legged WORM dying of natural causes in jail or at a hospital. This
    can't be called justice.

My 12 gauge shotgun is more than ready to teach a lesson to this filthy weasel.
  • funkybarfly
    Another "isolated extremist",eh?
Can there be such a thing as a "pattern" of "isolated extremists" or a"trend" of "isolated extremists"?
A rational person would look for a common denominator here.....oh! Islam!
Maybe they should waterboard simple Barack until he sees the connection.
  • Hard to decide which of these comments I liked the best. I chose you funkybarfly because of the statement: "Maybe they should waterboard simple Barack until he sees the connection." I wanted to say that, and glad you did.

    You go! GRRRR
