Inevitable: CAIR Slams “Profiling” Of Muslims In US

by Infidelesto on January 5, 2010 · Comments

Boo freakin hoo…I only WISH we were ACTUALLY profiling Muslims. But we’re not. Muslims from Western countries are given a pass. We should be profiling MORE and should include religion. Muslims need to understand that failure to contain the propaganda war against their radical brethren yields common sense results…profiling of Muslims on airplanes. Sorry guys, but you gotta do more.

Nihad AwadThe increasing number of crimes caused by anti-Islam hatred has become alarming in the US, the Council on American Islamic Relations warned.

In a letter to US President Barack Obama, CAIR’s national executive director, Nihad Awad, complained about the situation.

Washington-based CAIR officials claim that new airport security guidelines, under which anyone traveling from or through 14 Muslim-majority nations will be required to go through enhanced screening techniques before boarding flights, will disproportionately target American Muslims who have family or spiritual ties to the Islamic world and are therefore subject to religious and ethnic profiling.

In a statement, the CAIR leadership claimed that the Transport Security Administration’s security directives would result in the profiling of Muslims.

“Under these new guidelines, almost every American Muslim who travels to see family or friends or goes on pilgrimage to Mecca will automatically be singled out for special security checks–that’s profiling,” said Awad.

While singling out travelers based on religion and national origin may make some people feel safer, it only serves to alienate and stigmatize Muslims and does nothing to improve airline security, he said.

“We all support effective security measures (Uh, no you don’t – ed) that will protect the traveling public from an attack such as that attempted on Christmas Day,” added Awad. “But knee-jerk policies (Uh, how bout common sense policies?) will not address this serious challenge to public safety.”

Cuba, Sudan, Syria, Iran, Afghanistan, Algeria, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia and Yemen are on the list of countries subject to the enhanced screening for travelers heading to the United States.

Must be VERY unconfortable to actually be aware of the truth but not being able
to express it on account of political correctness.

Many Democrats and left-wingers in general KNOW that muslims DO pose a threat
and that deserve to be profiled !!

The airports motto should be " HAVE QUR'ANUS, WON'T TRAVEL".

They did created this MESS that it's upseting everyone else therefore they
should bear the label " SUSPECTS " and " DANGEROUS INDIVIDUALS "
at each and every airport in the world, including their own.

Profiling is the way to go.

    To HELL with CAIR.

Brazil should appoint you to be their ambassador to Saudi Arabia JH.

" Brazil should appoint you to be their ambassador to Saudi Arabia JH."

It'd be the same as a DECLARATION OF WAR against "saudi arabia " if Lula appointed me as ambassador...

    But, if he does...
Is there any MUSLIM REPELLENT on the market?

    Which CALIBER ?

    OFF TOPIC.

I just watched one of the best Test matches ever, although I admit it was made so because of key errors, especially those made by the Pakistan wicket-keeper during Australia's second knock. Quite the worst wicket-keeping I have ever seen. Pakistan should have won easily. They have some brilliant bowlers and a couple of killer batsmen - watch out for Umar, the 19 year-old, over the next decade. They sorely missed the captaincy of Younis, but he has washed his hands of the job for "political" reasons. Sad. Note that Ponting again failed with the bat. He is averaging 27 for the summer. Time to go. I don't care what anyone else says, but Australia's bowling is not good. Still, it was edge-of-the-seat stuff that I'll remember for a long time.

In my view, Test cricket is the real thing. One-day stuff is for the unwashed, while 20/20 (Hit & Giggle) is for intellectual lepers. It was fun watching the match with a foreign female who did not have a clue. Consider:

    * Why are there 2 batsmen?
    * They stop for lunch and tea? Do they have dinner?
    * Is the wicketkeeper the same as a goalkeeper?
    * What's "off" and "leg"?
    * What's a wicket? What does losing a wicket mean? What's the difference between a wicket and the stumps?
    * Why does a ball suddenly become a no-ball?
    * Why do they only get 10 men out? Why not the eleventh?
    * Does a nightwatchman have to stay there all night?
    * Why is it a leg bye if it hit his bum? It should be a bum bye.
    * Why is that bloke over there called the third man? Where is the second man? The first man?
    * Must the man called long leg be tall?
    * Why is that man rubbing the ball against his groin? Disgusting!
    * Why "a duck"?

And on and on. Imagine her trying to cope with the seam and leg breaks (painful?), silly mid-on, etc. What on earth would she have made of Brian Johnson's immortal "The bowler's Holding the batsman's Willey?"

Very funny Beej!I have heard similar inanities by people who just don't get cricket.
But I have never heard anyone ask if the night watchman has to stay all night.
I must say it was a spectacular test and kudos to the Aussies for their win.
Meanwhile in a couple of hours I'll find out if England managed to save the third test?
Was the woman in question a real Aussie;since in my experience Aussie women thay I've met usually know their cricket.

American comedienne,Rita Rudna, once remarked something like: "What's with the white clothes?;they look like a bunch of chemists out there;which team is which?;they play for five days and then declare it a draw?"
I noticed that the great Waqar Younis now resides in Sydney and did some work-shopping with the Pakistani bowlers.Hope he stays.I think he means to.He would have a magnificent influence on all young cricketers in Australia in his capacity as a bowling coach. He was always one of my favourites.

P.S Ponting won't go without the Ashes. They'll have to drag him out kicking and screaming.

P.P.S Sorry to everybody else about the cricket.

The British railway, telegraph workers and sailors brought their strange
game called FOOT BALL to Brazil in the 1890's and we, Brazilians,
    really appreciated this gesture.

I wonder why CRICKET isn't even known as a sport to 99% of us.
I wonder why the PAKIS loves cricket so much, whilst their love
    for football seems so dismal.

    This definitely isn't enough.
    CAIR should be banned.
Besides, I think the latest rounds of attacks are mere distractions to take the security people away from the "Big One" that is coming down the pipe.
When it hits we'll know it. Expect another 9/11 level attack around Easter. I can smell these things.
