So no, I was not involved in the original exposure but I certainly was involved with two journalists (of which I will not confirm if one was the same) in the further investigation and the tracking of his fund raising for very questionable reasons. That second report is now with the Australian Federal Police and the Australian Taxation Office. I gave the name of a friend who does similar funds tracking in Berlin, I do not know if the two journalists contacted him to do more research.

So, he was never in danger of violent radicals whom do not frequent tropical north Queensland but he is on the run, avoiding being "served" and soon enough the Federal authorities will crab him. I did my bit and showed him my back which is what he deserves at a minimum. As for jelous of your "freedoms", I have no interest in living in the US, I visit there twice a year on average, have been there countless times, for both work and personal reasons. I have a great many American friends, not to mention family there on both sides of the family. I like many things there, I also dislike many things there and to put it simple, am not interested in moving there even though I was invited to do so on a number of occassions. With my current work, I am asked to move to Washington DC, of which I kindly say no thank you, I moved to North Africa partially because I detest the cold (and suffer rumatism issues) and the humidity in that city in summer is terrible. Though those factors are real, I simply am happy in the country that I have which has a mix of everything available, massive history, scenic splendor, the right mix of moderate Islam that is not "in your face", hijacked by radicals or hypocritically mixed with tribal or cultural traditions. I will even admit that with the pension I get from Rotterdam, the rent of that house and the money my company now makes, I live better here than I could ever imagine back home - a 4acre piece of land on the outskirts of Marrakech, a large pool, I just sold my old mercedes and indulged into ordering the new Jag, a second car - a classic 1964 Jeep stripped down with sand-wheels to go push my frustrations out on in the mountain and the desert. No, America has nothing to offer me that this place has.
