Video: ANGRY Obama Lashes Out at House Republicans: “I Am Not an Ideologue”

by Infidelesto on January 29, 2010 · Comments

LOL, Barry is upset.  Being challenged on policy matters has never happened to the poor guy.  He’s been fawned over time and time again and when anyone actually criticizes him, his panties get all wadded up.  The guy doesn’t know how to handle it.  He can’t help but lash out.  He’s an immature child who’s never run anything in his life and now he’s throwing fits when anyone disagrees.  Oh and he does nothing but tell lies all along the way.

Gateway Pundit

An angry Barack Obama met with House Republicans today at their retreat in Baltimore and attacked them for voting against his very radical and failed economic plans for restructuring America. To their credit not one single House Republican voted for the record Obama Stimulus Bill, the record Omnibus Bill, the Obama Son of Stimulus Bill, and only 5 voted for the democrat’s business-busting cap-and-tax bill and only one voted for Obamacare.

Look at how ANGRY he is while speaking to the House Republicans:

He called his health care bill “centrist.” …They got a kick out of that.

Obama told the Republicans, “I am not an ideologue.”
The AP reported:

In a face-to-face encounter, President Barack Obama chastised Republican lawmakers Friday for opposing him on health care, economic stimulus and other major issues.

Republicans pushed back on taxes and spending, and accused Obama of not taking their ideas seriously.

Obama, attending the House Republicans’ retreat in Baltimore, began with conciliatory remarks but soon became more pointed. He said a GOP-driven “politics of no” was blocking action on bills that could help Americans obtain jobs and health care.

In a sometimes-barbed exchange, he said some in the audience have attended ribbon-cutting ceremonies for projects funded by the stimulus package they voted against. Obama also questioned why Republicans have overwhelmingly opposed his tax-cut policies, which he said have benefited 95 percent of American families.

“The notion that this was a radical package is just not true,” Obama said. “I am not an ideologue.”

GOP lawmakers pressed the president to pledge to support a line-item veto for spending bills and across-the-board tax cuts. Obama demurred, saying billionaires don’t need new tax cuts.

One thing is certain: we'll never see this again. Republicans will make sure the next time Obama opens a can of whoop-ass on 'em it ain't televised.
  • SirWilhelm
Looked to me like he tried to whoop-ass and the Republicans held their own.
  • Tonto
Obama should have been, and maybe was, talking to conservative Democrats. With the super majority numbers in both houses of Congress being what they are, the votes blocking Obama's socialist agenda come from his own party. Frankly, the Republicans are irrelevant and just make noise for the sake of it. The folks back home are pulling the reins on the Dems worried about the unemployment line. The voters in this country are beginning to "Take Charge". The word is out. They screw us today and we'll kick their ass out tomorrow.
  • JEWHAWK
Tonto, America needs folks like Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin, Paul Ryan, Scott Brown and Doug Hoffman and
purge the Reeds, Pelosis, Franks, Frankens, Kucinichs, Sanders OUT.

The American voters should realize that socialism or "progressivism" did NOT built America, but
    rather seeks its demise .

Don't you think that the Blue Dog Democrats already know what their president is up to ?
I think they are scared...not for their country, but to loose the Party's campaign money to
    face the next elections!
  • Tonto
Roger all that! I think there are some in Congress that should be in jail too! You've named a couple. Palin pissed me off by endorsing McCain in Arizona though. He is trying to save his job, but he leans left to much and the voters there will kick his old wimpy ass out this fall. You nailed it about Blue dogs running scared, but they all are, as they should be. I been saying for years that "Taxation without representation" is what our founding fathers fought the Revolution over, and that's all we been getting. The republicans that have leaned left, or ignored the constituents.....they'll be gone too. We call them RINOs...republicans in name only. Screw them! The Conservative Majority is really aroused. I've NEVER seen this much passion from the normally very blase center.
  • JEWHAWK
    RINOS? LOL!!

Oh,man...what about that FREAK Scozzafava that ended up supporting a Democrat in lieu of the
great, fiscally conservative Doug Hoffman ??

What about that damn TURNCOAT Arlen Specter ??

Did the GOP actually VETTED those losers ??

Accepting liberals is like inviting Count Dracula to be the Blood Bank's supervisor...
    Good grief!!
  • Tonto
As for Scozzafava, New York is basically blue and she thinks that she shines the apple by appearing blue. Perfect example of a RINO. She demonstrates that it's about getting HER elected more than anything else, and who she really is.....a democrap in camouflage. Spector is a typical political slime. He'll do anything, any way to get to where he can suck some power and recognition....like so may others. The common problem that people like these are experiencing now is that "the folks" (as O'Reilly calls them) are now paying attention, instead of their normal sheeple mode, weighing words against actions. Normal BS ain't working as it has for years and the RINO pukes aren't able to regroup from the facts....can't duck them any more. Bet they're saying "OOOPSIE!" a lot lately when they get caught out. Pork to buy votes from normally democrap constituents has RINOs in a pickle.
  • SirWilhelm
As long as the Dems controlled both Houses, he didn't need the Republicans, but still couldn't get health care passed. Now that he's lost the Super Majority, he hoped to cajole and intimidate enough Republicans to make up for the loss, and to cancel out the moderate Dems that have caused problems.

As far as him being an ideolog; on Jan 23, 2009, Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., raised objections to the idea of "tax credits" for people that did not pay taxes. The president was dismissive. "On some of these issues, we're just going to have ideological differences," he said. "I won. So I think on that one, I trump you." What's that sound like?

  • Tonto
Sounds like a socialist autocrat to me....how about you SirW? The arrogance of the man is stunning....what a gawdawfull mistake he has been!
  • JEWHAWK
Tonto, President Hussein raised the bar when it comes to arrogance. He's the KING of them all...
He's the most ELITIST person I've ever seen.

You actually can see SHEER CONTEMPT in his eyes, his chin unusually kept higher than
normal when he speaks, as if wondering :

"How this Riff-Raff dares to oppose my brilliant, Professor- at- Harvard University,
valedictorian- at Columbia University minded ideas that are for their own benefit ?"

Why only NOW he is seeking for "bipartisanship" when he literally closed the doors
    for the Republicans ?
  • Tonto
We call that "smoke and mirrors", "dog and pony", Bullshit, or, from our muz brothers, taquiya. He's trying to run a scam. He's already said he'll get what he wants by hook or by crook...even try to get around Congress. He'll offer deals, try intimidation, lies and deceit. Whatever. The Republicans ain't going to give him shit and enough of the members of his own party have already said "Hell No!" and he hasn't been able to get anywhere with them. That part of the speech was probably just for the benefit of the mesmerized faithful in voter la-la land. He's losing respect all over the country on a daily basis. No President in history has fallen from favor so quickly. Obama is setting new records. His Arrogance has already stated that he knows he will be a "one termer", but says his greatness will transcend all that and he will prevail in just one term. I want some of that shit he smokes! LOL!!
  • mazabdul
All hail president Obama! There will be a great socialist union, the likes of which the world has never seen before. The American flag will be redesigned to have a flint and sickle! Obama will crush the puny republicans! The US government is now the fifth government
  • Tonto
Maz, You're an asshat. Maybe when you've had the chance to work for a living for a while, the idea of wealth distrubution, from your pocket to somebody else's, won't appeal to your finer senses so much. Right now you just sound like a kid, still pretty damp behind the ears.
  • mazabdul
May Obama purge the US like Stalin once did the USSR, may he hunt down the industrialist swine that have tortured America's people, and may he finally end the oppression faceless conglomerates have reigned down on America. The right-wingers will be tortured and killed, the fascists will be sent to re-education camps and the workers will be the real rulers of the country.

But wait! There is a light in the sky. There are great Americans who will protect their country from the oppression of this madman, whose greatest economic policy so far has been a credit card regulation. They will fight this great war. They will get bored housewives to march around like idiots carrying signs with the painfully obvious on them. They will call their president slurs and come up with clever puns on his name, such as pointing out his middle name and emphasizing it like it has meaning( Ignoring the fact that there are 1.3 billion Muslims in the world, localized in various parts of the world). And then they will spend hours on their boring talk-shows, screaming and crying for no reason. They will moan on microphones, bloated and stuffed with oxycontin. They will talk about the great invisible war that America never needed, and they will talk about how their president won't fight it. They will call any efforts to stop US citizens from getting health care communism. And after four years of yet another normal US presidency, they will watch the president drift away and yell on their dumb shows about how they saved America. And of course, they'll treat their loyal slaves to another $25 rant about black people or welfare or whatever it is they tend to bitch about.

It's so much easier to fight a war against a non-existent enemy
  • Tonto
Maz, you really are out of your frickin' mind ain't you boy? Go smoke some more of that funny shit and think up some more crazy shit to say.
  • mazabdul
The Stoner Argument. How poignant. I'm not the delusional one though. No, i'd need Beck, Hannity and the heart of evil itself, Rush Limbaugh, on my side for that. Does it ever surprise you that these douches are making so much money off your delusions?
  • the heart of evil itself, Rush Limbaugh

LOL, you're a mainstream media robot. Have you ever actually listened to
    Rush?
  • mazabdul
Yeah, i figure I went too hard on Rush Limbaugh.
". “The NAACP should have riot rehearsal. They should get a liquor store and practice robberies.”"
He's a balanced, reasonable journalist who's dedicated himself to reporting the truth and not just useless tirades
"Look, let me put it to you this way: the NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it"
He dedicates himself to reasonable journalism as opposed to going with the flow. He's not afraid to say the things that mainstream America wants to hear.
"Feminism was established so as to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream of society."
He's really dedicated to civil rights, freedom and of course a better government. And he hates it when people are arrogant for no reason.
"Mr. Obama, I think it's time we had a heart to heart. Let me be the father you never had"
It's not like he's a bloated drug addict who gets paid millions to repeat the same empty racist garbage, discourage donations to a tragedy in Haiti, or even say that stopping genocide entails black America taking over. Not Rush. I've listened to Rush Limbaugh. The man who wished America would fail.

One day I hope he maxes out his 'prescription' so I can finally take a big steamer on his grave. Til' then, guess I'll have to stick to being a robot. Pretty rational one at that
  • “The NAACP should have riot rehearsal. They should get a liquor store and practice robberies.”

Yep, that's the EPITOME of evil right there </sarc>

"Look, let me put it to you this way: the NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it"

More EVIL, especially worse than those chopping heads or flying planes into buildings.

"Feminism was established so as to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream of society."

    True

"Mr. Obama, I think it's time we had a heart to heart. Let me be the father you never had"

Also true. Yep, super-boogeyman evil right there....LOL

bloated drug addict You're an idiot. He went to rehab and kicked the habit HOW MANY YEARS AGO? Bloated? He lost 90 pounds this past year you douche-idiot. You lib morons hold onto ANYTHING you can to ridicule. Good tactic justifying his "evilness", BTW. LMAO!

"discourage donations to a tragedy in Haiti," You're a total moron. You should listen to his words, not what the MSNBC or Daily Kos Kooks are interpreting it as.

"stopping genocide entails black America taking over." What? LOL

"The man who wished America would fail." He wished Obama's POLICIES would fail you nut-bag. You're DEEPLY entrenched in idiocy. That has been confirmed.

Moreover, many of those asinine quotes were totally taken out of context. If you listen to rush, you know how satirical he is. But you obviously have never heard him in context since you simply peruse media matters or Huffpo all day. You're the epitome of the misinformed village liberal idiot. And yes, it's clear you haven't listened to him in context.

I suppose you think his "barack the majic negro" schtick was racist too? Too bad you failed miserably to understand why he did it in the first place. Or maybe when he suggested that Harried Reid was trying to appeal to both light skinned and dark skinned negro dialects. Soudns racist right? Of course! Sure until you actually understand why he said it.

All your comments are simply laughable to me. You toe the liberal-stupidity line without hesitation and I can only sit back and laugh. I actually feel sorry for you that you're so indoctrinated into leftist craziness.

Btw, Rush has THOUSANDS of hours on the air. Yea, that's right. THOUSANDS. And you pluck 5 quotes taken out of context? LOL. Where's the REAL evil stuff? Memo: you won't find any.

    I seriously laugh at you.
  • mazabdul
Oh for flat f***'s sake, what are you, his lost love child?
Cause unless he pays you for PR like that, I'm at a loss to describe the idyllic love you have for Rush. And please just grow up already. "Ooh, ooh, you liberals are so misinformed". What do your guys do, live in a parallel universe where they know the truth? It's the NEWS. Everyone has it. We already know who's going to say what, so getting unbiased news is pretty easy.

Oh and believe me, save yourself the trouble of tuning in. I'll fill you in on conservative news. "Bla bla bla I wish it was the good ol' days Bla bla bla Communist uprising Bla bla bla America is under constant attack Bla bla bla America is the greatest bla bla bla Brown people smell bla bla bla. Without fail, same load of crap every day. And they are making millions off this spew.

"If you listen to rush, you know how satirical he is."
The cu** isn't Mark Twain! He's a loud-mouthed conservative broken record. How could you besmirch the fine institution of satire by equating that piece of sh** to a satirical figure. Stephen Colbert is satirical. John Oliver is satirical. Rush Limbaugh? Rush Limbaugh is as satirical as Mein Kamph, really. He has the subtly and nuance of a gang rape. The literary skill of an eight-year old on meth. Look, infidelisto, even if i forget what a racist pile of vaginal spew and endorser of overseas murder he is, the man's a horrible excuse of a - anything, really

The quotes are neither satirical nor deeply indicative of a greater social message-it's polemical garbage that appeals to the idiotic and hateful imbeciles that tune into his show. And yes, the mountains of racist comments he has made in the past and continues to make show what a demented hack he is. Was I exaggerating with the 'evil' remark.

Buy a history book. That fatherland crap died in fascist Europe, most sane Americans know not to blindly idolize their country, but to constantly criticize it. Any man who's willing to make light of America's civil rights history shouldn't have his own talk show. There is no underbelly to civil rights movements and feminism. "Oh, but you'll only hear it on the Rush Limbaugh coon-hating hour" Yeah well my local librarian is the only guy i know who thinks freemasons rule the earth, how's his credibility looking right about now?

The Haiti bulls***, the Darfur bulls*** (that was the genocide remark's basis Infidelisto) and many of Douche Limbaugh's 'great pieces of news' are often meaningless theories he continues to expel from that overworked cakehole of his.

Really, I've tried listening to his excuse for a radio show and it's just the same boring crap. It's always just a loud-mouth shouting crazy, random garbage. And as for where I go for my news, I happen to enjoy the Daily Show, the Colbert Report, CNN and BBC. That's what journalism should be. Funny at times, serious at times, but overall, SANE. (I understand that should you respond, you'll probably let me in on all the random crap they do and I seem to be oblivious to)

He says this stuff like he's 'the true voice of America'. The reason we don't say the things Rush does is because most of us haven't spent too much time next to the microwave. He's a moron, and an embarrassing one at that. But you know, Rush is a pretty swell guy. Unless you're black, gay, hispanic, asian or possibly a woman. But otherwise he's a real classy fella. I just keep taking him out of context. Just like the Muslims keep saying you take the Quran out of context. Boy I wish i was more tolerant of c***suckers who should have their microphones rectally inserted.
Oh and stop using LOL. Easier to take you seriously without 14-year-old slang
  • love child? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Like that? Cause I actually am LOLing at you're 16 year old ingoramus comments. It's actually funny and I'm LMAO as I write it.

The only love child in this debate is you being the red-headed step-love-child of the left. I can't say I blame you for being such a MSM-talking-point-robot spewing the talking points over and over and over and over again while I LOL at you every time you open your brain to sh** all over my blog. IT happens to a lot of ignorant kids like you. Stupid miss-informed jerry-fu**s reading daily kos, digg, reddit and huffpo all day. What a pathetic generation. Sorry kid, but you're way out of your league. Hopefully one day reality will slap you in the face and you'll wisen up.
  • mazabdul
    "LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL "
Can really tell I'm out of my league here. Wow, maybe I should go take some advanced writing classes or something, you know, to match your supreme literary skills.

I don't mean to be a grammar Nazi, but you've committed some serious atrocities against written word. Learn how to write, please. Burka clad women in Afghanistan have a better command of the language than you do. Thank you for addressing my points so eloquently, but next time try typing with your fingers, not your face.

Now please, just get off the high horse. The fact is, conservatives are not a revolutionary force, they're not the unrestricted thinkers of this nation and they're definitely not the solution to anyone's goddamn problems. The idea of a conservative actually thinking is a bit difficult for me to process. Typically, they're more traditional types, almost exclusively WASPs and never really that progressive in their views (you know, on stuff like Evolution, Stem Cells, Gay Marriage, that stuff). And while you think of me as a 16-year-old ingoramus (sic), a robot and a follower of mainstream media, I should probably remind you that all of your pundits have millions of viewers who tune in to watch them make idiots out of themselves and they have made teetering piles of money selling books which would be poorly qualified to keep tables from wobbling. They are not an underground force that meets under a bridge or at a dock somewhere. They're just another section of the MSM. But hell, it keeps me laughing so why should I care.

I'm sorry you feel that I'm sh**ing on your blog, if you want me to stop posting comments just say the word and I'll go. As an opponent of Islam as a whole, I figured we had something in common, clearly I was mistaken in that assumption.

Maybe I should start reading credible news sources, eh? Like Fox News, the broken record of conservative view points. Learn about how many people are trying to blow up this great nation, how health-care will kill us all and how the president is actually a Bolshevik operative, reporting to Moscow and still have time left over to go to a Glenn Beck tea party rally and miss the point of a historical moment. Yeah, I'm the repetitive one with a dire need for reality. If you just insisted on your points being right because you have faith in your party's decisions, i might buy that. But Christ. Actually rationalizing this heap? Us jerry-f***s just haven't tried mentally running in place at that rate.
  • SirWilhelm
It really worries me that used the term "revolutionary force". I don't want to take it out of context, so I'll ask just what you meant by that? You also say "progressive with your views" like that's a good thing, are you a Progressive? Do I understand you correctly when you seem to be saying you have to be a Progressive when it comes to the subjects like Evolution, Stem Cells, Gay marriage, and that "stuff"?

I acutally like your points about millions of viewers tuning in to watch the conservative pundits. It seems the ratings show that there are more viewers watching them than all of you and your friends put together. And yes they are selling a lot of books, they seem to take turns at the top of the best seller lists, because they are saying what most people want to hear. Together, they put you and your friends in the minority. I'm just sayin...

As an opponent of Islam, we do have something in common, and as a US citizen, you're entitled to your opinions. I would hope you continue to post here, but I would ask you to respect us and we will respect you. If you have a difference of opinion, stick to the issue, and avoid personal remarks, and we can join forces against the real enemy, Islam.
  • Tonto
Good greif, what an idiot. I vote your sorry ass off the island. Live a real life for a while and come back and tell us about all the wonderful revalations you've had.....but for now, GTF outa here! You've got a really good mind kid. Learn to use it.
  • Winghunter
That's the exact same as drooling; "Obama sure showed them who was boss having that terrorist tried in New York." OR "Obama had GTMO closed down in a year just like he promised." OR "Obama really swayed the votes in New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts!"

    Hold THIS, Litgo

  • psudrozz
anyone ever get the feeling that obama is getting agitated with being president?
  • Beejj
Watch his face, psudrozz. VERY revealing.
  • Tonto
Keep score! Seems to me that everytime his mouth is moving and noise is coming out of it, it's another lie.....I'm trying to figure his RATE of lies per minute. Faster than some drag racers I believe.
  • hmm, a new metric to be established? LPM = Lies per minute.

John, as someone who really watched both 2008 U.S. Presidential Primaries, campaigns
until its final outcome, paying a great deal of attention to B.Hussein's brilliant speeches
and finally, his State of the Union's 70 minute-long speech, I must say that only ONE
politician I've ever known could LIE more than your current president:
Brazil's former president, Fernando Collor de Mello, IMPEACHED due corruption.

Both men reckons that lies are not only necessary, but vital to achieve theirs
    shady goals.
Both have had utter contempt to those who elected them.

There are some who think Obama will be busted for "something" and gotten rid of to keep the Democratic Party from being totally destroyed politically...that was some theory advanced by a Canadian politics watcher. That would be a good thing but then, we'd have Joe "Duh" Biden as Prez then with a Pelosi back up....holy crap!
