French gov’t refuses citizenship to man who called his wife an “inferior being” and forced her to wear Burka

Good! Don’t let that trash in.  If you want to move to a Western country, leave your 7th century barbarism behind you and assimilate like most decent immigrants.

President Nicolas Sarkozy’s administration today took another shot at the burqa, scoring populist points ahead of France’s March elections, say analysts.

France’s immigration minister said he is refusing citizenship to a Muslim man who called his wife “an inferior being,” and forced her to wear a full veil in public, an announcement that plays well with French public support for a burqa ban.

“He has no place in our country,” Prime Minister Francois Fillon told Europe 1 radio, in a decision that comes a week after a French parliamentary commission recommended a partial ban on any veils that cover the face. The ban still needs to be voted on, but it would apply in hospitals and on public transport. France already has bans for wearing headscarves in state schools.

Fillon said the Moroccan man, who had married a French woman, failed to respect the “values of the [French] republic.”

“This case is about a religious radical: he imposes the burqa, he imposes the separation of men and women in his own home, and he refuses to shake the hands of women,” Fillon said.

Of course we’ll see the radical multiculturalists on the left come out of the woodwork on this one claiming bigotry, islamophobia (a made up term that doesn’t exist), hatred for all Muslims and all the rest.  Good for France on this one. Bravo

  • What ever the case may be in France, and I do hope this is true? This no count husband of this degraded woman has to sleep sometime and I would see to it, the Burka was stuffed up His, and set on fire. I knew a woman that used super glue on her husband's you know what. He was in a lot of pain for a long time, and he kept it in his pants after that. LOL More than one way to skin a RATFINK Raghead. Be ingenious girl and get the Son of a Pig back, right where it hurts.

Just look at the picture that accompanies this article. Can there be anything more tragic? Can a sadder sight be envisaged, short of the mangled corpse of a mutilated child or a stoned woman? This is Islam at work, folks. This is the denial of human rights at its most fundamental level. This is enslavement of 50% of the population. This is oppression raised to Law. This proclaims that Islam denies freedom of expression of women. Islam pretends to revere women and to succour them, but look again at the picture and realise that millions of Islam's women are forced to dress like this, and that such sartorial monstrosity runs parallel with the belief that women must unfailingly do men's bidding. There are those who will say it is but custom; that such modes of dress merely display cultural practices, but they confuse chosen conformation to cultural behaviour with subjugation. 25% of the world's population see nothing wrong with this, and the number grows daily. 25% believe God wants it to be so. Again, the number grows daily. Wait a while. It will soon exceed 50%. Happy with this, you Goddists?

Ultimately I don't trust the Europeans because they have invented a legal system which, like Sharia, is based on inequality before law and which is destructive of the individual's (the working individual) right to his private property earned through labor - i.e.: the Europeans invented Marxist and Fascist Socialism - self-serving Collectivism. Even if every Muslim were deported from Europe her people face the prospect of increasing Socialist tyranny.

“It had long been realized that the only secure basis for oligarchy is collectivism. Wealth and privilege are most easily defended when they are possessed jointly. The so-called "abolition of private property" (Communist Manifesto) ... meant in effect the concentration of property in far fewer hands than before... In the years following the Revolution it (The Socialist Party of Oceania) was able to step into this commanding position almost un-opposed because the whole process was represented as an act of collectivization... It had always been assumed that if the Capitalist Class were expropriated Socialism must follow; and unquestionably the Capitalists had been expropriated. Factories, mines, land, houses, transport, everything had been taken away from them; and since these things were no longer private property it followed that they must be public property. Ingsoc (Socialist Principles of Oceania), which grew out of the earlier Socialist movement and inherited its phraseology, has in fact carried out the main item in the Socialist program with the result; foreseen and intended beforehand, that economic inequality has been made permanent.” George Orwell – 1984

“It is no accident that the European Parliament, for example, reminds me of the Supreme Soviet. It looks like the Supreme Soviet because it was designed like it. Similary, when you look at the European Commission it looks like the Politburo. I mean it does so exactly, except for the fact that the Commission now has 25 members and the Politburo usually had 13 or 15 members. Apart from that they are exactly the same, unaccountable to anyone, not directly elected by anyone at all. When you look into all this bizarre activity of the European Union with its 80,000 pages of regulations it looks like Gosplan…. If you go through all the structures and features of this emerging European monster you will notice that it more and more resembles the Soviet Union. Of course, it is a milder version of the Soviet Union. Please, do not misunderstand me. I am not saying that it has a Gulag. It has no KGB .. not yet .. but I am very carefully watching such structures as Europol..." Vladimir Bukovksy

Not sure I agree with you on this SR.
Sarkosy and co are no Islamists in fact one of Sarkosy's election pledges was to reverse Islamic influence in secular France.
I'm no admirer of the Napoleonic code myself;but I can tell you that Islam is NOT popular in France;and Sarkosy is a master populist.
    Let's hope it
's a case of little acorns!

Yes, Socialism is secular; but it's full expression (Communism) was as bad as Islam. I don't trust Socialism, i.e.: Collectivism, in any of it's forms - all of it is in violation of our Declaration of Independence - Socialism is un-American. I do not trust any European leader - they are all self-serving Collectivists. I expect European leaders will come to terms with Islam in a way which violates the sacred rights of the European people - sacred equality before law - sacred individual rights to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness (private property earned through creative labor). I believe the European people can look forward to Collectivist government power (probably a hybrid of Communism and Islam) which does not derive from the consent of the governed.

“The former Soviet dissident Vladimir Bukovksy, who has warned that the European Union is on its way to becoming another Soviet Union, thinks that while the West won the Cold War in a military sense, we lost it in the context of ideas: “Communism might have been dead, but the communists remained in power in most of the former Warsaw bloc countries, while their Western collaborators came to power all over the world (in Europe in particular). This is nothing short of a miracle: the defeat of the Nazis in 1945 quite logically brought a shift to the Left in world politics, while a defeat of communism in 1991 brought again a shift to the Left, this time quite illogically. Bukovksy is right: We never had a thorough de-Marxification process after the Cold War, similar to the de-Nazification after WW2, and we are now paying the price for this. Many Marxist ideas have been allowed to endure and mutate, such as the notion that culture is unimportant or that it is OK to stage massive social experiments on hundreds of millions of people… Marxist ideals of forced equality can only be enforced by a government with totalitarian powers, and will thus inevitably lead to a totalitarian society. There is no “enlightened Marxism,” and the idea that there is has ruined more lives than probably and other ideology in modern history. Marxism is an organized crime against humanity.” Fjordman

I hope that you are right, but I remain a skeptic of both Islam and Europe.

A good move. Now, how about following it up with kicking out all the Muslims that agree with this guy and treat their women the same way that are already in France? They shouldn't be hard to find, since they are usually adamant that their religion and culture give them the right to treat their women that way. And if the French can do it, how about the rest of the West? I'm just sayin...

Ahh! a faint zephry of commonsense seems to be wafting from the frog secularists.
No doubt the faithful will now engage in a weeping and gnashing of teeth fest!
Stay with it frogs;this and the Geert Wilders "show trial" may be the first step in reversing the undeserved privileges the death cult have gained.
    Common sense strikes back,
