The IDF needs the practice anyway. The sooner Israel realizes that world opinion is absolutely nothing compared to keeping Israel alive and well in the midst of a sea of insanity, the better off Israel will be. A slaughter of all opposition, without mercy, is what is required in West Bank and Gaza. They need to hunt them down and EXECUTE them…period, dot, end of story. That would be a “pretty good” starting point. Then they need to trot out a couple nukes and polish them up in full view of the iranians…..to sort of….give them the idea. Maybe a “test” over Tehran would be good too.

1) Saying they ‘intended it’ means that Israel is somehow not killing people, but events are being orchestrated to make it look like a murderer. It’s a goddamn war, Israel is attacking not because it has to (Hamas has killed less people than car accidents) but because it feels it has a divine right to this soil based on their fairy-tales-for-serial-killers book. If you’re referring to the broad idea of endangering their people by fighting, then any war ever used civilians as human shields. Finally, look at the numbers. I don’t think it’s a fairy tale when history relates the conquest of Israel by the Romans, and the problems they had with Jewish rebellions, until they had to expell them from their own land in the diaspora. Major groups such as amnesty international have debunked much of these claims. Unfortunately Israel uses the philosophical argument often. I.e. by fighting with us and refusing to acknowledge our supremacy, you endanger yourselves. First of all, that makes it sound like Israel is saying it’ll stop murdering children when people recognize it as a state. Hmmm, what’s the word for that?

This is part of perhaps my favorite Israeli delusion, namely that the people of Gaza fight not for any political ends, but really because Allah told them to. Not the siege of their land. It’s all just fundamentalism.

The US lost just over 40,000 men fighting Japan in the 1940′s. Japan lost MILLIONS. This makes us the bad guys? How about the fire bombings? Nuclear attacks on civilians? (By the way, my wife is Japanese)

Israeli forces are among the best trained units in the world. Atrocities occur in ALL wars. Their is a direct correlation between atrocities and the amount a training that a unit or soldiers have undergone. The more the training, the fewer the atrocities. Please, look it up.
