Another day, another muslim blowing himself up for allah. Bad enough that muslims whine when their mosques are shut down because they double as munitions depots, staging grounds for jihad (aren’t they all?), or are used to launch rockets. But never doth the mussulman respect any orther religious site, be it churches (ransacked and burned to the ground in Egypt, Sudan, Kenya, Indonesia, etc…), or funerals, apparently.
34 killed, over 50 injured in suicide attack at funeral in Adezai
PESHAWAR: At least 34 people were killed and over 50 injured when a suicide bomber in guise of mourner detonated himself during funeral prayer of wife of member of Amn (Peace) Lashkar in Adezai’s area of Matni near Peshawar on Wednesday.
According to details, a suicide bomber in guise of mourner attended the funeral prayer of wife of ‘Amn Lashkar’ in Adezai suburb of Darra Adam Khail and detonated himself killing 34 mourners and injuring over 50.
Soon after the incident the Rescue 1122 and bomb disposal squads rushed at the site and started rescue work, the injured have been shifted to hospital while the death toll could increase.
Jamal Shah, a doctor at the main hospital in Peshawar, says in addition to the dead it has received 32 wounded from the explosion.
According to police officer Zahid Khan, around 300 people were attending the funeral when the bomber struck.

According to SSP Operation Peshawar, the suicide bomber targeted members of Amn Lashkar.
Banned Tehreek-e-Taliban has claimed the responsibility of the suicide attack. TTP spokesman called journalists in Peshawar and told that anyone who forms Lashkar against Taliban would meet the same fate
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Interior Minister Rehman Malik, federal ministers, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and other political leaders vehemently condemned the incident of bomb blast and directed to probe into the matter.
Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has directed to provide better medical facilities to the injured and expressed condolence with the bereaved families.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik has sought report of the incident. He said that the security threats are increased in March and April while the terrorists are stabilizing in the country.
He further said that the suicide bomber targeted the Amn Lashkar. He said that whole nation would have to make joint ventures to root out terrorism.
Senator Zahid Khan, Awami National Party (ANP) leader condemned the suicide blast in Adezai. “These terrorists want to destroy our economy. They are working on a foreign agenda. Our houses, mosques, shops and markets and graveyards are not even safe. We have asked all political parties to come forward to curb this menace.” “We are committed to kick them out,” he added.
Mian Iftikhar Hussain, the provincial Information Minister said that his government is trying to fight terrorists with minimum resources. “It is an international phenomenon. These terrorists want to build their state here. Local people have joined these foreign terrorists now,” added Hussain
