Some will complain this is a civil rights violation. That same mentality is what allowed Hasan Nidal to kill and would dozens more at Fort Hood in 2009.

FBI Tracking 100 Suspected Islamic Extremists in US Military

(NEWSER) – The FBI has tracked some 100 people within the US military suspected of being Islamic extremists, with a dozen of the cases considered “serious,” reports NPR. These involve individuals who appear to have demonstrated a “strong intent” to attack military targets. The “insider threats” include both active and reserve military members, but also people who have access to military facilities such as contractors or relatives with special ID cards. The information was revealed in a closed-door House-Senate committee hearing late last year, according to three sources.
“I was surprised and struck by the numbers; they were larger than I expected,” said Joe Lieberman, chairman of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security, who declined to confirm the numbers. Just last year an AWOL Muslim soldier was charged with plotting an attack on Fort Hood soldiers—intended to exact “justice” for the people of Iraq and Afghanistan. People within the military “aren’t just your run-of-the-mill jihadis,” a Georgetown University counterterrorism expert warns. “These are people who have access to guns and to bases and are supposed to have security clearances. This is not the community you want to be radicalizing.”

Off Topic. Can anything be done to rescue IAC from imminent oblivion? This once thriving site has become moribund, its founder seemingly having lost interest, with the result that hardly any of the old stalwarts who contributed so enthusiastically and frequently and trenchantly not all that long ago contribute anymore. I find this disappointing – nay, sad – because IAC was a vigorously healthy stage for people to air their views about the world’s fascist religion, its slavery of its “born Muslim” victims and its threat to human thought and freedom.

Mistakes have been made, perhaps the most far-reaching being the banning of committed Muslims who used to write with passion about a wide range of topics. We might disagree with them, but it seems odd to me that IAC, an American creation, should silence such people, given that America sets such store by its democratic processes, or pretends to. Indeed, I would argue that by being banned from IAC such Muslims MUST feel they have triumphed. I know I would. Fence-sitters would agree with me. What are you afraid of, IAC? If Muslims arec so wrong, give them every opportunity to voice their “wrongness”.

The time for spring cleaning has arrived. Get rid of all the old topics: they have outlived their usefulness. Make a fresh start. For god’s sake get rid of the ….. yawn ….. “Top 10 ……” It has been done to death, and its corpse is smelly.

Perhaps IAC is thriving on Twitter. I wouldn’t know, for I have no time for a means of communication that fosters knee-jerk reactions, hideously written by those seemingly unable to string more that half a dozen words together in a coherent fashion.

“Can anything be done to rescue IAC from imminent oblivion?” Doubtful,
Beejj. It’s been quite some time since this site was worth visiting, yet
I still do so hoping things will change. The “Top 10 Quran quotes…..”
is the only post getting attention because there are never any updates
to this site. Four articles in 3 months..… is nothing newsworthy
happening in the sick world of Islam?? Not only has that topic been done
to death, it is nearly impossible to navigate through the comments to
find what you are looking for. It takes forever for the page to format
and when it finally does many of the old comments are reduced to a
    single character on the page.

    It makes me sad, too.

Christine, please send me an email. My former computer died, so I lost everything. I need your email address.

Beejj, I sent one to you right after I wrote this. Please let me know if you did not receive it.

Off topic (again). I have just read Mitt Romney’s speech delivered in Israel. Has there ever been, in the history of the planet, a more ham-fisted, brainless politician than this clown? The man is a danger. Much as I dislike Obama’a politics, please let him defeat this moronic Mormon in the Election. Of course Obama will win: Romney almost daily guarantees it. Nice choice, Republicans.

What, specifically, did you find wrong with what Romney said? And, why do you find Sarah Palin “breathtakingly vacant”? Calling people names, like clown, and vacant, is Alinsky like demonization, and I would have not believed you follow the dictates of a Leftist like Alinsky. But then, you are an atheist, aren’t you?

I don’t like Romeny very much, either, but Obama is much worse, unless you like Marxist Muslims with a, not so hidden agenda, to “fundamentally transform” America into a totalitarian Socialist state. Is that what you want to see, Beejj?

    Sir W ,
Just returned from the USA where I spent a very happy week in the Hamptons(Long Island).
I met several American friends of my pal RL there all of whom have had serious education at such illustrious institutions as MIT,Princetown, etc.
What I can’t understand is in a country with a plethora of intellectual talent with certain exceptions American politicians seem behind the door.
Sarah Palin is an attractive lady ; but to me she seems educationally subnormal .
The USA seems full of clever ladies one of whom is only known as a top model!
The fact that she graduated from Chicago Uni in chemical engineering never seems to be mentioned.

You surely read what this walking disaster said about why Israel is more economically advanced than its neighbours?  There was even a suggestion that the imaginarly bloke in the sky plays a part.  By saying what he did he lauded Israel’s superiority, and a man in his postion should never say it, even if it is true. He might think it (as I do), but he must not say it. That’s not politics. He should strive to appear to be the statesman America and the world need. His comments in Britain have made him the laughing stock of the country. This is presidential material? God knows I loathe Obama and almost everything he stands for, but he plays politics in a way Romney will never manage, and this is why he will, alas! romp home in the election. Palin? Do I have to recount this figure-of-fun’s gaffes? They are well known.

I laughed aloud when I read your “But then, you are an atheist, aren’t you?” So American! You blokes cannot abide anyone who refuses to accept evidence that is not there and childhood brainwashing, which is why you will never elect to highest office a confessed (confessed!!) atheist. How soddingly juvenile! Whenever I hear “God bless America!” I rush into the lav to vomit. Far better would be, “Americans, let us believe in ourselves, and to hell with everyone else.”

Why did you ask your final question? Were you drinking at the time?

    Here’s another opinion:http://mnprager.wordpress.com/2012/08/01/while-obamagang-cannot-identify-the-name-of-israels-capital-city-romney-names-jerusalem-oh-golly-gee-whiz/

Atheists tend to be Leftists, and make the kinds of personel attacks you are making on Romney, and Palin. I don’t really think you are a Leftist, but, you do say you are an atheist, so I tried to make the point that you were acting like a Leftist. I don’t support Romney, but, I don’t tear him down, because, there’s no other realistic alternative to Obama. So, I must ask you to refrain from tearing him down too, unless you think Obama should be re-elected? I don’t agree with your opinion of Palin, either, but, she’s not running, so, it doesn’t really matter what you say about her. I’m not trying to restrain your freedom of speech. I’m asking, not demanding. I know you will do as you see fit, in any case.

I was not drinking. I do let my emotions speak for me at times, which is usually a mistake.

  • Tonto

Yeah, Sarah Palin and her hubby are real dumbasses…..enough to have started with basically nothing and built a business (a couple actually) that made them millionaires….and Sarah was so stupid she cleaned up the old boy corruption in Alaska in just a couple years and put crooks from both parties in jail for their part in that crap….she’s just a plain talker and not a “smooth as duck shit” pol like a lot of the pukes you see on TV here. She’s smart as hell and if you studied her a bit, you’d see that the way she talks allows her to use those brains to communicate and cause people to listen. People in some places LIKE plain talk.

Off Topic. All my adult life, even though I am not American, I have sided with the Republican Party. Never again. First, there was that demented bitch Palin; then there was that oafish clown Romney; and now we have that intellectual amoeba Akin. America, I salute you …. your ability to elevate to high office those who would feel belittled in a zoo passeth all understanding. America, you are the laughing stock of the world.
